While portraying characters in dramas and series allows the actor to gradually grow the essence of the character over the course of time, movies require that the actor bring out the complete aura of the character within an hour or two.
1. Nadech Kugimiya
Nadech Kugimiya is one of the most prominent and one of the most decorated in the Thai entertainment industry. Nadech often appears on the list of the most influential and most powerful people in Thailand. Nadech Kugimiya has received over 100 awards for his work in the projects that he takes up. His debut, film "Sunset At Chaophraya", was released in 2013. The movie was about a soldier named Kobori, the young captain of the forces of the Japanese Imperial Army that set base in Thonburi, on the Chaophraya River, and Angsumalin, the woman he went head over heels for.
2. Bright
Vachirawit Chivaaree, professionally known as Bright, is a Thai-American singer, model, actor, and host. Bright is best known for his role in "2gether: The Series". Bright's debut film was released in 2016, and it was titled "Love Say Hey". This movie was also his entry into the entertainment industry. Love Say Hey" follows the stories of high school seniors and figures to balance out the different aspects of their lives as they make continuous progress in their graduation project involving a film they have to make.
3. Mario Maurer
Mario Maurer is a model and actor who rose to become one of the biggest heart-throbs in the Thai entertainment industry after being cast in 2010 released hit "First Love". Mario featured in the 2007 film "Love Siam. It was a BL movie following the story of two young teens who had been the best of buddies when they were kids. But after one of them lost his sister, the two friends were separated. When they finally met again, one of them had debuted as a pop singer, and they slowly began finding closure within each other.
4. Saint
Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana, more commonly known by his nickname Saint, is a singer and actor who gained immense popularity and fame through the 2018 TV series ”Love By Chance” as Pete.Saint’s first movie, “Please (Her)”, released in 2020, was about three friends who fall in love with a beautiful woman. The catch, however, is that each of them ends up falling for the same girl. “Please (Her)” follows the love story of each of the three friends and the woman from their respective perspectives.
5. Weir Sukollawat
Sukollawat Kanaros, also known as Weir, is a model, singer, and actor. Weir was discovered by Supachai. When Supachai had approached Weir, Weir was in his second year at university. After Weir’s parents gave him the green light, Weir accepted Supachai’s offer and flourished to become one of the most successful Thai actors. Released in 2008, “Where The Miracles Happens” was Weir's first movie. It was about a successful businesswoman who loses her daughter in an accident and how she learns to overcome the pain and sorrow that she was engulfed in after her daughter’s early demise.
6. James Jirayu
Jirayu Tangsrisuk, better known as James Jirayu, is a widely acclaimed actor in the Thai entertainment industry. James was recruited by Charnchalard Dhaweesap (Pik), founder of Meta Talent Management Agency. James made his film debut with "Timeline". It followed the story of a young teen, Tan, who had lived his life in Chiang Mai with his mother but yearned to experience more of the world. To be able to do this, Tan decides to go to Bangkok for his education. Slowly. Tan begins to learn more and more about the world and also about his true desires.
7. Kem Hussawee
Kem Hussawee started his career working as a model under Love Media Thailand. Today, Kem is signed under Channel 7 and is one of the most famous actors on the channel. Kem's first movie, "Ruk Na, Soup Soup", was about a young woman, Minnie, and an upscale restaurant that lost its Muslim Star due to an error Minnie makes. In order for the restaurant to earn back their lost start, Minnie is put up to the task of creating something new and worthy of being awarded a star again.
8. Tor
Thanapob Leeratanakachorn, also known as Tor, is a model, singer, and actor. Tor is best known for his role as Phai, in the drama "Hormones". Tor debuted as a part of the project group 9x9 (Nine By Nice) in 2018. "Mary Is Happy, Mary Is Happy", was released in 2013. It was Tor's first film release, although he did not star as the main lead in it. The movie was about a girl in her final years in high school and how she begins to fail to understand her situations once strange and bizarre things start to happen to her.
9. Krist
Perawat Sangpotirat, more commonly known by his nickname Krist, is a singer, actor, and model. Krist is considered to be one of the most handsome singers and actors in Thailand. He gained a huge following after being cast in "Sotus: The Series". Krist made his movie debut with "My Rhythm", a movie that narrated the story of a group of university students who aspire to follow their hearts and create a band.
10. Jaylerr (JJ)
Krissanapoom Pibulsonggram, nicknamed Jaylerr or JJ, is a singer, actor, and model. Jaylerr is famously known for being a member of the project group 9x9, or Nine by Nine. In 2013, Jaylerr was cast in "Grean Fictions", in a supporting role as the character Oat. "Grean Fictions" is a story about a group of high school boys who start a documentary film channel on YouTube. As their videos begin to get more and more views and likes, the boys experience happiness like never before.
