K-pop’s most famous squad is the 97 liners and is also known as the heartthrobs of K-pop. The group members are BTS’s Jungkook, GOT7’s Yugyeom and BamBam, SEVENTEEN’S Mingyu, The8, DK, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and NCT’S Jaehyun. Fans believe that the squad came about because of the close friendship between BTS’s Jungkook and GOT7’s Yugyeom as they saw them interacting with each other on various variety shows. The squad grew as the others joined and became part of it. The group was discovered in 2016 because of GOT7’s BamBam as he uploaded a selfie with six friends on his Instagram, and it had GOT7’s Yugyeom, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, The8, DK, and BTS’s Jungkook. Jungkook also has talked about a chat room with male idols born in 1997, and fans noticed that in BTS’s You Never Walk Alone album, the section of thanks to he mentioned the 97 liners squad members by their names.

Jeon Jungkook is a South Korean singer and songwriter born on September 1, 1997, in Busan, South Korea. He is the youngest member and vocalist of the South Korean boy band BTS which made its debut in 2013. He initially dreamt of becoming a badminton player when he was younger and wanted to become a singer after seeing Big Bang’s G-Dragon perform Heartbreaker on television. He auditioned for the shoe Super Star K that he did not pass, after which he received casting offers from different companies. Jaehyun got cast by SM Entertainment in 2012, and he debuted as the main vocalist, sub-rapper, and lead dancer of the boy band group NCT in 2016. He is a member of the South Korean boy band group GOT7 which debuted in 2014. BamBam after the disbanding of GOT7, signed under ABYSS Company, and made his solo debut in 2021 with his first mini album, Ribbon.

Kim Mingyu is a South Korean singer and rapper born on April 6, 1997, in Anyang, Gyeonggi- do, South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy band group SEVENTEEN which debuted in 2015. He is known for his passion for art, which he often shares on his social media and is the photographer in the band and takes breathtaking pictures of the band members. Mingyu has an attractive face and body proportions.
7. SEVENTEEN’s DK (Deok Yeom)
DK(Deok Yeom) is the stage name of South Korean singer and musical actor Lee Seokmin and was born on February 18, 1997, in Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. He is the main vocalist of the South Korean boy band SEVENTEEN and its Vocal team, which debuted in 2015. Deok Yeom debuted as King Arthur in the new musical Xcalibur at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.

The8 is the stage name of Xu Minghao, a Chinese singer and dancer based in South Korea and born on November 7, 1997, in Haicheng, Anshan, China. He is a lead dancer, sub vocalist, and sub rapper of the South Korean boy band SEVENTEEN and its Performance team, which debuted in 2015. The8 is well-known for his creative side and taste in photography, art, and fashion.
