Dong-Goo dreams of becoming a well-known movie director; however, he is in a rut and cannot succeed. Cheon Joon-Ki dreams of being a famous actor but has only been able to secure minor roles. Bong-Doo Sik wants to become a screenwriter but faces many obstacles. Their shared guesthouse is also almost bankrupt. In this series, our main protagonist is Yoon Hye-Jin who, is a dentist in Seoul. She is intellegent, hard-working, and a realist. She is proud of her job and her life in Seoul; however, overnight, her life changed, and she must move to a small seaside town called Gongjin. This is where she meets Hong Du-Sik, our male protagonist. Du-Sik is a very busy man and helps around a lot. He is also lovingly called Captain Hong by the rest of the townspeople. Hometown Cha Cha Cha is a definite watch when you're; feeling low.

3. Business Proposal

In this series, we follow Shin Ha-Ri, our female protagonist. She is a woman who works for a big company in South Korea. Ha- Ri's friend Jin Young-Seo is a part of a chaebol family. Her family forces her to go on blind dates, which infuriates Young-Seo. She asks Ha-Ri to go on the blind dates in her place. On one such date, Ha-Ri meets Kang Tae-Moon, our male protagonist. Ha-Ri recognizes Kang Tae-Moon immediately as he is the CEO of the company she works for. Business Proposal is an addictive watch. It is funny and very romantic. It’s; a perfect series to watch when you're; feeling sad.

4. Hospital Playlist

In this series, we follow the lives and the friendship of five doctors. It depicts the everyday lives and struggles of nurses, doctors, and patients in a hospital. These five doctors had been in the same medical university and now work at the same hospital. Our protagonists are Lee Ik-Joon, Ahn Jeon-Won, Kim Jun-Wan, Yang Seok-Hyeong, and Chae Song-Hwa. In this series, we see the struggles each of them faces in the hospital and their personal lives. We also see how they support each other in the good times and the bad. Hospital Playlist is highly recommended and is great to watch when you need a pick-me-up.

5. Mystic Pop-Up Bar

In this series, we follow Wol-Ju, a ghost who runs a cart bar called Ssanggab Cart Bar. The Cart Bar is a mysterious food cart that only opens at night on the roof of a building. The people who visit this food cart consist of humans and ghosts. While eating and drinking, they exchange their stories and try to heal their wounds and traumas by talking with others. Mystic Pop-Up Bar is a great watch when you're; feeling down and need something to lift your mood.

6. Fight For My Way

In this series, we follow Ko Dong-Man, our male protagonist, and Choi Ae-Ra, our female protagonist. Our protagonists have been friends since high school. Ko Dong-Man was good at taekwondo as a young boy, and as an adult, he works as a contract employee but dreams of getting the UFC title. Ae-Ra had always dreamed of being an announcer; however, as an adult, she works in a department store at an information desk. Fight for My Way is an entertaining and funny and great to watch when you're feeling sad.

7. My Roommate Is A Gumiho

In this series, we follow Lee Dam, who is a university student. We see her life get entangled with that of Shin Woo-Yeo, who happens to be a professor. He is brilliant and handsome. He also is a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox. The only thing he desires is to become a human. This series is very entertaining and is overall light-hearted. It has a lot of good banter and funny moments and will keep you hooked.

8. Reply 1988

In this series, we have five protagonists that we follow: Duk Sun, Jung-Hwan, Sun-Woo Dong-Ryong, and Taek. Our protagonists have been friends since they were children, and they are also neighbors. This series depicts their lives and the challenges they face. The series not only revolve around the lives of the children but also their respective families. Reply 1988 is very famous in Korea and is beloved across the globe.

9. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo

In this series, we follow the lives of Kim Bok-Joo, our female protagonist, and Jung Joon-Hyung, our male protagonist. They were childhood friends who were reunited in college. We see how their relationship blossoms and how they support one another. This series will make you smile on a bad day.

10. What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim

In this series, we follow Lee Young-Joon, who is the vice -president of a large company. He is known for his wit and wealth; however, he is extremely arrogant. Our female protagonist is Kim Mi-So, who is his secretary. Lee Young decides that Mi-So is a perfect match for him. The only problem is that Mi-So wants to quit being his secretary. This series is very entertaining and very silly. It is an excellent watch to lift your lousy mood.
