Article: Top 10 BTS Collaborations With Other K-Pop And International Stars

BTS is famous worldwide and many artists have expressed their desire for collaborating with them. Some of the previously done collaborations with international and Korean artists have been so successful that the ARMY has been waiting for more collaborations ever since, although BTS get lots of requests for such partnerships, we would like to see more local support so that more K-Pop idols can come up with songs without the stress of their companies. Here are some of the collaborations that we love:

1. Who–Lauv, Ft BTS

Lauv is one of the rarest artists with multiple collaborations with BTS and shares a great bond with the members; he even supports the boyband; when BTS was under a lot of racist attacks, he went on to mention his level of excitement and growth in career that he is able to perform with BTS.

2. Boy With Luv-Halsey, Ft BTS

Halsey shares a very close bond of friendship with the boyband BTS. RM and Halsey are no less than best friends. They even had a secret handshake when they meet. Halsey has always been there to help the group, amidst all the hatrede, and BTS adore Halsey and support her as well.

3. Blueberry Eyes-Max, Ft SUGA Of BTS

One of the most interesting facts about the collaboration between Max and Suga’s song ‘Blueberry Eyes’ is that Suga, due to traveling restrictions, could not shoot for the MV of the viral music, and therefore Max and his wife (whom we see in the MV), memorized all of Suga’s lyrics, even the ones in Korean.

4. ON-BTS, Ft Sia

One of the most successful collaborations of BTS, Sia had herself tweeted about her online version of the song, which was not made physically available in the album. Still, for BTS, this was a dream come true, who had been fans ever since the drop of ‘Chandelier’, a song of Sia’s.

5. Eight – IU (Prod. And Feat By BTS SUGA)

As all of us already know, the entire boy band is a huge fan of IU, so when IU showed interest in collaborating with Suga, who she believes has great skills and is definitely an excellent producer, it didn’t take much time to make that happen in reality, they worked together on IU’s comeback song, Eight.

6. Make It Right-BTS, Ft Lauv

BTS and Lauv worked on the remix version of the track ‘Persona’ from the album ‘Map of the Soul’ and released it as ‘Make it Right’; Lauv had previously shown a lot of love and support for the band by attending their concerts.

7. Chicken Noodle Soup, J-Hope Of BTS, Ft. Becky G

Back in 2019, both the rappers collaborated to remix the older version of the 2006 song by DJ Webstar and Young B; although the fans had already suspected the collaboration, it came out as a happy surprise and was viral on social media.

8. SUGA’s Interlude–Halsey And SUGA

SUGA and Halsey have previously collaborated on Halsey’s album and the track named “manic,” where the two bond well over music and production.  Halsey mentioned once that she felt that Suga really fit the vibe of the song well, and therefore, she wanted to include him.

9. Crying Over You-HONNE Ft RM And BEKA

This has to be one of the most controversial collaborations between a BTS member and another artist; although the song is critically acclaimed, there have been instances of controversies, primarily due to label disputes and RM has not been credited for his part in the music, the song was delayed for a long time too.

10. Old Town Road- Lil Nas X, Ft BTS

Videos of BTS performing the song with Lil Nas went viral on social media sites where the boy band leader was appreciated for his incredible vocals for the music, and even though everybody was interested in the remixes of this very famous song at the time, this collaboration stood out from the rest, and it still is iconic.
