Sometimes a reel couple in the drama has such swoon-worthy chemistry, that makes the fan's heart flutter, and they can't help but ship the couple together, hoping they'd date in real life as well. They are popularly called as Song-Song couples by their fans and media. These two starred in the hit drama ‘Descendants of the Sun,’ which aired in 2016 on the KBS channel. They were rumoured to be dating even before the drama aired as they were captured in NYC together. Both of them starred in one of the most popular K-dramas ‘Reply 1988’. In the drama, Duk Seon, Hye Ri's character didn't choose Jun Yeol's character, Jung Hwan, leaving him heartbroken and regretful of being too late. But in real life, Jun Yeol won the love of Hyeri, making the fans who shipped them in the show happy. The couple confirmed their relationship in 2017, and they often go on cute secret dates.
