Life is not easy for our Korean idols. They are prevalent, and thus, it is obvious to have numerous anti-fans too. There have been incidents when these anti-fans have crossed their lines. Sometimes it's for attention, but their deeds lead to a panicky situation. Here, we have ten such incidents.
1. Apink
Apink, a South Korean girl band under IST Entertainment, has been awarded the Golden Disc Awards and the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Apink had called off its press conferences and University events due to a mysterious death threat. They received a threatening phone call that claimed an explosive plantation at their destination. The suspect was living in Canada at that time.
2. GFriend
GFriend member, Eunha was threatened at a live broadcast. The viewer wrote that he intends to kill her in Japan. He was an anti-fan who passed the same comments to SinB and Umji. They debuted in the industry in 2015 with Season of Glass and Flower Bud. They earned their first award with Snowflake in 2016.
3. TVXQ!
TVXQ! was initially used for Tong Vfang Xien Qi. TVXQ! Member Yunho was once served super glue by someone who appeared to be his staff member. He drank it, assuming it was orange juice. The incident made the idol cough blood before collapsing.
4. 2 PM
2 PM band once received a scary gift from his anti-fan. It was a flower bouquet considered a token of death in South Korea. However, they were not harmed after it. This band comprises six enthusiastic members who earned their first via 'Again & Again.'
5. Big Bang
Fandom wars are pretty standard in the K-pop industry. It is not a concern in most cases except for those who cross the line. An EXO fan once threatened Big Bang, an infamous five-piece boy band. The fandom clashes resulted in a panicky situation when one said he would bomb Big Bang's show.
6. Girls' Generation
Girl's Generation is often called "The Nation's Girl Group" in their nation. During her performance, a man pulled away one of its prominent members, Taeyeon. He was about to take off her stage and was followed by Sunny. Security guards then stopped him.
7. Jay Parke
The anti-fans created a petition titled 'Jay Park suicide.' It was astonishing to see that 3000 people signed the petition. It happened when Jay Park departed from the 2 AM boy band group. He is a successful solo star and rose to popularity with "Nothin' on You," which won the "Best Web Video" Category at the Mashable Awards.
8. Han Geng
His anti-fan threatened Han Geng via the mystery box. This box comprises a cake with power poison. It also consists of several bags of blood, stabbed photo, and a knife. A boy forwarded it through a staff member to him.
9. Do Ji Won
Ji Won experienced a horrifying incident with his anti-fan couple. She was kidnapped and forcefully locked in the car's trunk. They took her and derived for about 5 hours. They left her after extorting a handsome sum of money.
10. Yoon Eun Hye
An anti-fan with vinegar, soya sauce, and pepper brutally attacked baby V.O.X member Yoon Eun Hye. He aimed to make her blind, and she had to withstand an eye patch afterwards. Her anti-fans threw food toward her, refraining from walking with her head up.
