Drama digest
A group of five people who has invested in the stock market took part in a mysterious stock meeting. Through investing in sticks they learned about life, love, and friendships. Yoo Mi Seo will be marring soon. She is a newbie in investing and till now she has only lost her money. Choi Sun Woo is a man of mystery. After finishing his shift at a convenience store he jumps into an expensive import auto. Not worried about their career or success, Kang San is only focused on his happiness. By working part-time he earns a living. A pig feet restaurant is owned by Jung Haeng Ja. Kim Jin Bae began to invest in the stir market after retiring from his job.
The feel-good part
The drama has all the plot, acting, and finale, everything was top-notch. The characters were from different age groups and proved that there is no age limit to trying something new. Each of them invested in stocks for different reasons.
The disappointing factor
The character development was slow but it was acceptable. The last episode was a bit rushed but it’s okay.
In-depth analysis
In the twelve episodes, the characters develop in their way. The storyline was wrapped up well. The main characters did not have a cliffhanger ending. The main characters were interesting and engaging. The stock investment parts were confusing at times but it did not make the drama keas enjoyable. The drama also showed how it impacts people’s life positively and negatively. The writer added the right amount of humor to the plot. The humor was not overdone but it was enough to lighten the mood. The way the characters were written made the stick investment theme more interesting. The stock market is seen as a gambling house but this drama helped to see the other side of the stock market system. The characters go through anxiety, stress, and emotional drowning losing their money. The characters learned about each other’s dreams and are motivated to pursue them without any judgment. Yoo Mi Seo was passionate about stick buying and she learns how stressful it is to lose money.
Star power
All the actors acted well. You can’t feel depressed after seeing the light humour drama. The romance between Yoo Mi Seo and Seo Jung Woo gave good vibes. The other couple also showed a nice relationship. Jung Moon Sung stole the show often but other characters were not overshadowed.
Overall opinion
If you want to watch a light and humorous drama, then you can go ahead with this one. The drama was enjoyable from the very first episode till the last one.
