Drama digest

Takara Shun is a high school student who belongs to a popular group in the class. Taichi Amagi is a boy who is not a conspicuous type, but he is liked by people who realize their love for each other. It isn’t easy to be honest though, they start dating in secret.

The feel-good part

Amagi being honest during gardening was the best part. The conversation between the characters was beautiful in episode 3. The ost was incredible, and the production values were standardized.

The disappointing factor

The multiple-time skips made it choppy. Instead than being an overarching plot, each episode felt like it a contained story. The ending was not satisfying.

In-depth analysis

Amagi is an adorable sunshine bean nugget. He is frantically jerky and clumsy, but doesn’t seem as overblown. Tamara is greatful to the point of deadpan, one of the popular cliques, reserved, and inaccessible. It turns out that Takara is the one who liked Amagi first and he will latch on to Amagi’s confession. Takara explains that he dosen’t want to share Amagi, so they keep their relationship secret. Takara can do anything for Amagi. The drama depicted the depth of character and balance by switching perspectives. Amagi’s fears are about the first love, but Takara attempts to mitigate that fear. The way Takara evolved was so good. Takara’s voiceover blew the show. Takara thinks Amagi is adorable and wants to keep him in all possible ways. The couple was sweet and shy during the entire show.

Star power

The cast was decent and gave satisfying performances. The side actors did well and did justice to what was given to them.

Overall Opinion

The drama is adapted from the manga ‘Takara-Kun to Amagi-kun’ by Banage no Mai. It is an excellent drama for a happy and stress-free watch.
