Drama Digest

Da Eun works part-time and Kim Byul is an idol. These two women who appearances alike decide to alternate each other’s lives just for 7 days. And now 1 year later, they decided to exchange one extra time because of one event! A special one week is about to begin a brand new.

I appreciated approximately first season became little bit of twists and turns narrative that stored you guessing. But in second season they modified it up and things weren’t up to debate a whole lot. It starts on a similar observe, however as plot progresses, it kind of loses the spark.

The range display setup is repeated, albeit the putting is modified and it does have an effect on the story a bit. Idols are filmed 24/7 as an alternative of getting a team around, which on the quilt of season starts off evolved to generate plot holes. What will they do with the photos of idols brazenly beefing or predominant characters being together?

The narrative highlighting struggles of being an idol is sustained, however served extra as a plot device than cognizance of the tale. Yes, it is a crucial part still, however I felt like it came about inside the background and actual cognizance became the romance.

The Feel Good Part

One factor  season 2 did proper turned into display the quantity of idols courting normal people and the way their lives can alternate immediately due to the corporations reputation and overly zealous fans, that part turned into achieved nicely, however the dating between Da Eun and Jungwoo is written so friggin poorly on this season I need to cry, within the first season we got the struggles of being an idol from Jungwoo point of view (and a piece of Byul’s too), he’s worried approximately being stalked regular, he can’t live an ordinary lifestyles anymore, and he’s constantly taunted by way of anxiety of one of his former saesang “fanatics” stalking him within the past, he’s scared to go to sleep at night, the listing is going on, his individual had depth

The Disappointing Factor

Besides these things, I think the biggest issue I had with s2 was how poorly Jungwoo’s character was written. Compared to season 1, he had no character depth whatsoever, none, in this season he was just a guy who follows what his company says, doesn’t fight for Da Eun, doesn’t fight for their love, gets jealous of Da Eun being around another guy, I mean like lmao, what kind of writing is this??? Seo Dohyun was a better written character, and he’s not even the ML why all honestly if him and Da Eun got together I would’ve clapped, sorry Jungwoo :’( you’re potential was wasted. As for Byul, she gets to see Ji Han again, but, lmao that’s about it and the second season doesn’t even reference her trauma to flash photography, which also irritated me because that should’ve been explored more, and Ji Han could help her overcome but nope said the writers. Just like they said nope to dive into Jungwoo’s trauma in season 1. Both Byul & Jungwoo have had traumatic experiences as idols, but that is not explored even once in s2.

In-Depth Analysis

There are new characters. As tons as I appreciated the appearing of Woohee and Lee Ki Taek, they had been simply kind of there. Woohee particularly, she changed into the beneficial friend however it’s it. Lee Ki Taek did a great activity, I favored him in In Seoul and seeing him again became first-class. His individual become greater advanced, despite the fact that he low key felt into the second male lead cliche. He changed into more like School 2015 Gong Taekwang or Heirs Youngdo, the sort of much less approachable man who magically opens up to girl lead.

The villains are bit cartoonish to me. Most of the time I wanted to bypass their scenes however knew I wanted context if their schemes come to lifestyles.

One issue is sure; I did felt the frustration from male lead. His relationship took a success due to his idol repute, and he failed to recognize what to so. However the chemistry the couple had ultimate season was slightly there? Maybe that changed into the factor, as they were presupposed to be exhausted by way of occasions.

The pace choices up on the stop, however in general I felt the tale may be instructed in 6-eight episodes as opposed to 10. It lags a bit, and when a brand new episode dropped, I stored finding myself forgetting the plot of ultimate episode. I just wasn’t as engrossed within the tale to remember every little element or refresh the page to peer if new episode is up.

As a stand by myself web drama, its average. As a comply with up, it is bit disappointing. It’s now not horrific; however it kind of misses the mark. If you liked first season, deliver it a watch and notice for yourself.

The plot is based on imaginary place where earth is under a threat which is because of a monster name as Byo-Gens which is not in favor for environment stability. Now, a magic realm that are healing animals one the one that protect that garden and it is led by lady teatine but things are not in their favor apparently. With the help

Stars Performance

. Both the actors have excelled their role on individual basis. It’s like they definitely complete each other as both are shown as an opposite character and they literally bring out every characteristic of these tropes. The growth of both characters individually as well as with each other can be witnessed through the screen. The expressions, body language of the characters was outstanding. Also, the supporting characters also did a great job in making drama worth watching. So, from the acting point of view it’s a great drama

Overall Overview

I got to say i cherished the season one extra as i didn’t like how they ended the ultimate episode for this, it seems rushed and i felt unhappy that they didn’t deliver a lot highlight to the side characters. It would have been remarkable to see how the characters become! And i sense like they didn’t supply kim byul’s character lots justice both? It’d had been excellent to reveal if switching with daeun did help her cope up together with her struggles being an idol. Typical, the series was so fun & cute to look at.
