The Feel-Good Part

The movie also showcases the interactions between the other villagers and both the leads, which gives an insight into the life in the rural areas. Moreover, the movie is abundant in visuals and has excellent cinematography, which is supported by the soulful acting.

The Disappointing Factor

The movie’s pace can be a bit slow for some, and the topic of alcoholism can be triggering for some people.

In-Depth Analysis

Overall, Breakfast of Memories is a heart-wrenching movie about Oh Eun Soo, who struggles with alcoholism, and how her husband, Jung Seok Young, helps her with it. The daily life of an unhappy yet loving couple is beautifully portrayed in this movie. However, the moment one thinks that they have got the plot sorted is when there comes a twist.

Star Power

The role of the alcoholic wife, Oh Eun Soo, is played by the talented actress Moon Geun Young, and that of the husband, Jung Seok Young, is played by the charismatic actor Jo Han Sun. This movie marks the return of Moon Geun Young to the small screen after two long years, and she has portrayed her character so well that one can feel the pain of her character from her eyes. Jo Han Sun has done an equally good job, along with the other supporting actors.

Overall Opinion

If you want to watch something that has a deeper context, is tear-jerking, and tugs at your heartstrings, then this movie is a must-watch for you.
