Drama Digest

Hira, a seventeen-year-old student, who is at the underside of the class, never expects to open his mouth and tries hard to continue to be unnoticed at school. He viewed the world from his point of view until the day Kiyoi Sou joined the class. Hira found himself attracted to Kiyoi. Kiyoi is always encircled by people; and he, effortlessly gets popular. He utilized his reputation to fulfil his needs. Hira bodies himself to exist with Kiyoi without wanting anything in return.

The Feel-Good Part

The cinematography was done generously, and the animated scenes where Hira and Kiyoi were staring are done amazingly. It was interesting to see the dynamics between Hira and Kiyoi. The arrangement of the story was pretty nice. The music was something that made the drama perfect. The story is written well and implemented in a good attitude.

The Disappointing Factor

The lead characters are unhealthy and strange in some ways. Overall the drama is good and doesn’t have loopholes or issues like music, execution, writing or acting. Everything was decent as per the length of the drama.

In-Depth Analysis

In the beginning, lead characters are different from each other. Still, as the story progresses, it is made clear that they both are equally preoccupied and desperate for each other because they are deprived of affection and trust. There is a similarity in how they perceive each other. From the outside, they are different, but they have the same problems. Hira’s character was difficult to play as it was distinct. He has some other qualities like body language and expressions that are near impossible to act. Yusei’s performance was magical. He has created a beautiful vibe that everybody cannot do. His eyes were expressive, and his emotions were built up in every episode. The way he acted frustrated was incredible. Both of them approached their roles artistically and physiologically. The fiction pacts with topics like miscommunication, bullying and different things, which make it more exquisite. The plot is not straightforward; and it, is complex and engaging. It have layers of details interwoven in scenes. The narration placement and controlled pacing has created an impactful ending. The problem explained between Hira and Kiyoi is normal but intervening. It focuses on the issues that are influenced by their concussion that propel their behaviour. Hira has self-worth and self-confidence issues. That’s why he idolizes Kiyoi. Whereas, Kiyoi has abandonment and trust issues. He copes by projecting a tough and robust exterior. The drama shows the character development of both Kira and Kiyoi. The changes are subtle but realistic and meaningful. This drama is beautiful and was filmed in an attractive manner. The ending was also satisfying. It is an addictive drama that will make you curious. It was shot wonderfully, some moments were promising, and the light masochism was also interesting to watch. The shit gave an idea that Hira views Kiyoi as a king. This drama will make you feel strongly about the characters, and the production was captivated by the story. It is also a natural portrayal of relationships, emotions and tendencies humans have. It emotionally depicts the combinations young people feel and navigating the social pressure in the environment. All of the complexities come together so beautifully.

Star Power

All the actors portrayed their roles in a thoughtful manner. Kiyoi and Hira are both remarkable characters but depicted in a fantastic way. The series was strengthened by the performance of the actors. The cast has created a strong impression on the viewers.

Overall View

It is an amazing and impactful story; and only, the length was short, according to the story. This drama is desirable and watchable. It is adapted from the novel “He, who is beautiful” by Nagira Yuu.
