Drama Digest

The show follows the lives of the medical interns, attendings and residents working and mending the sick children at the fictitious Princess Anne Hospital, with Kevin Cheng, Kenneth Ma, Linda Chung, and Catherine Chau in the lead roles.

The Feel-Good Part

The medical (hospital) sequences and the burgeoning romances are well-balanced. Each character has their own distinct personality and quirks, making the show extremely approachable and enjoyable to watch. There’s also a fair balance of primary and supporting roles, so no one character is overshadowed.

The Disappointing Factor

Although there is a clinche theme, there are also some unexpected turns. You’ll despise the boss, but supposing there has to be a villain in every show! We despise cunning people, and he is one of those bosses you hope to never have to work for.

Overall Opinion

The touching stories in Kids’ Lives Matter continue to appeal with viewers on a more intimate level than other recent TVB medical dramas. Kids’ Lives Matter should easily dominate numerous prize categories at the forthcoming Anniversary Awards.
