The Feel-Good Part
The drama strongly focuses on the lives of actors and actresses and how one wrong move can make everything go out of hand. And, as such, best portrays the emotions of characters at that time to the best.
The Disappointing Factor
There were several things that made it sad, particularly because the main female lead was in a dilemma at each and every moment in the show. She was conflicted and found it difficult to decide, which at times made it seem like she was being annoying but given the situation, we can’t help but take pity on her.
In-Depth Analysis
The drama follows the famous actress Shu Xing. She is loved for how amazing of an actress she is. One day, when she attends a dinner party, a murder happens, and she is put on the spot and framed for it unfortunately. Because of this, there was an uproar in the public and people stopped supporting her. As a result, she disappeared from the public eye because she could not handle the hatred she got. She was conflicted as to how she went from being the most loved to being the most hated person. Her star power was had completely disappeared. After being quiet for two long years, she decided to come back after all. Her hiding was doing her no good. She comes back with the sole purpose of uncovering all the truths that were hidden, which also involves her finding out how her old boyfriend and her current boyfriend were involved in this murder.
Star Power
Poppy Mai Tong as Shu Xing, Wei Wan Qiu as Su Yu, Zhang Lin Qing as Gu Chen, and He Shan Kai as Jing Ming are amazing in their main roles and bring out the story with the emotions displayed as the story progresses.
Overall Opinion
This drama is perfect if you want a change of pace and want to watch something new.
