Drama Digest
Su Bei, a cloth designer, was framed for plagiarism and was forcefully sent abroad after being resigned of many relatives. After seven years, she returned home as a gold medal model agent. To analyze the truth about the suicide by one of her relatives, aunt Lan perpetrated suicide by leaping from a building. Su Bei reconciles herself and pretends to be an ethical wife, approaching her ex-husband, who had not been in touch for the last seven years. He forcefully sent her out of the country. Su Bei returned to find the truth, a long with Lu Nan, she was able to solve the mystery and regain her original intention. Both of them solved their misunderstandings.
The Feel-Good Part
The story was good all the problems mentioned were solved. The theme which was presented was good. The portrayal of the characters was also reasonable.
The Disappointing Factor
The overall drama and concept was good, but the execution failed in some places. It felt like the directing was lacking in a few ways.
In-Depth Analysis
Plot love is alike felt to ‘Well-intended love’ drama, and there is a CEO and his successful wife with whom he is infatuated. The female side character is planning to separate both the leads. Lastly, the female lead is rejected by the male lead. The couple got so many enemies that it makes you wonder how they were together in the beginning. Male leads personal illness affects him only in the last episodes. The direction was terrible. The theme or idea of the drama was likable.
Star Power
The actors in this drama could have performed better. Chen Shu Jun performed better than Ross Chen. The main couple had got some chemistry between them. The acting is not sizzling, but it was watchable.
Overall Opinion
The drama is a novel adaptation “Jin Pai Tian Qi, Zong Cai Chong Hun 1314” by Yun Qi Mo Li. The drama does not a re-watch value.
