In-Depth Analysis
In the spring of 1979, in Jinjiang, two close friends named Gao Jinyang and Ye Shouli discussed how to escape poverty in the face of barren land. Both their families were struggling to make ends meet. Gao Jinyang and his wife started a small business in fishing and trading using a small boat. Meanwhile, Gao Haisheng, their eldest son, and his daughter-in-law Ye Dalian, started a garment factory, which gradually grew from a small workshop into a successful clothing business with multiple branches. On the other hand, Ye Shouli, who loved farming, stuck to traditional agriculture and used a mix of old methods and modern technology to become successful. His daughter, Erlian, led Jinjiang’s unique food industry. These businesses faced challenges but managed to thrive. The children of both the Gao and Ye families followed in their parents’s footsteps, excelling in their respective fields. They worked together with honesty and determination to create a new era of “Made in Jinjiang.”
Star Power
The cast did an excellent job with their roles. Yu Xiao Guang played as Gao Haisheng, and Gan Ting Ting played as Ye Dalian. Other characters were Zhang Feng Yi, Heidi Wang, Cao Zheng, and many others.
Overall Opinion
The show is fun and exciting to watch.
