The Feel-Good Part

Bloody Heart is truly a thrilling drama that will keep the viewers anticipating the next moves of the characters. The cinematography deserves a shout-out for its brilliance. The storyline is well-written and executed. The attention to detail in every scene, location, and especially the costumes was very much evident.

The Disappointing Factor

The political theme of the drama revolving around a power struggle is quite common in most historical dramas. Bloody Heart surely lacked creativity and originality in the context of the theme and screenplay. The drama is quite predictable regarding how things turn out, and you will find yourself guessing the next move correctly.

In-Depth Analysis

The storyline is well-written, and the writers did a brilliant job of portraying the historical facts and context appropriately. The costumes of the drama stole the show, and the attention to detail in the costumes of every character is truly remarkable and does the job of reflecting their personalities and positions. The acting was flawless and looks effortless, and you will find yourself indulging in the character’s lows and highs as you watch the series, kudos to the actors. In most political-historical dramas, romance and love stories take a backseat. However, in this drama, the writers did a good job in setting up a love angle perfectly, which complements the storyline. Furthermore, the chemistry between the lead pair is remarkable too.
