Their charity work goes beyond the paparazzi event. There are plenty of celebrities who donate to charity, and they are doing so without distracting pomp and circumstance.

1. Bae Suzy

Suzy, a singer, model and actress, donated 100 million Won for patients with fatal diseases and cancer. Suzy provides annual medical aid for patients with fatal diseases, cancer and to the economically challenged and underprivileged section of the society. It’s her habit of donating to the organization on her birthday every year.

 

2. Lee Si Young

Lee Si Young has donated for the child abuse victims. She donated 20 million Won to Duroo, which is a corporation aggregate. The donation will be used for the victim’s rights, reforming the legal system, lawsuits, research, and education for the victims of child abuse.

 

3. Son Ye Jin

Son Ye Jin, the actress, donated 100 million Won for Daegu residence because it’s her hometown and the center of Covid-19 in Korea. The money was sent to the charitable organization in Daegu to help low-income people and to treat the patients.

 

4. Kim Soo Hyun

The actor Kim Soo Hyun donated 300 million Won to Danwon School. The high school where student victims of the Sewol Ferry tragedy had attended. Kim Soo Hyun requested the authority to use the money to create a memorial for the deceased students and support family members, peers, teachers, and friends of the victims.

 

5. Park Shin Hye

The goodwill ambassador for Hunger Saver since 2011, actress Park Shin Hye, donated 30 million Won for the regions affected by the Nepal earthquake. Many other celebrities too donated for the cause.

 

6. Min Yoon-Gi

Suga donated to a disaster relief organization after the group’s tour, “Map of the Soul,” was cancelled due to the ongoing 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Yoo Jae Suk attended the ‘Child and Adolescent Music Support Ceremony’ and donated 200 million Won whole-heartedly that will go towards funding children's instruments and music classes.

Korean superstar IU donated USD 91,000 to Child Fund Korea to support less fortunate students. IU’s donations alone have surpassed USD 726K.
