Social media is a platform where idols post their pictures or videos or leave voice messages for their fans. Some of the typical social media that K-idols use are Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube. Many idols are restricted from social media accounts by their company, and any pictures uploaded will be from their managers. Some K-idols, even though they have permission to create a profile, Idols do not use social media for their reasons. Here is a list of the top ten idols and idol groups who do not have an individual social media account.
1. D.O
The famous vocalist of D.O, known by his original name Doh Kyungsoo, is a member of the boy band EXO. D.O is an excellent actor and a model. He has acted in famous dramas like Hundred days of my prince and movies like Along with the Gods. D.O is one of the members of EXO who does not have a social media account on any platform.
2. Chen
Chen is a member of EXO and its sub-units EXO-M and EXO-CBX. He is also a successful soloist with three albums. Chen is the "King of OSTs" because Chen has sung several OSTs for dramas. He is married, and his second child was born in late 2021. Chen is the other member of EXO who does not have a social media account.
3. Minho
Minho is an excellent actor, singer, and dancer from SHINEE. He is well-known for acting in dramas like Hwarang, Somehow 18, To the Beautiful You, etc. He has hosted several award shows and acted in movies like Illang: The Wolf Brigade, The Battle of Jangsari, and his upcoming film New Normal. Minho is the only member of Shinee who doesn't have a social media account.
4. P.O
Pyo Ji-Hoon, commonly known as P.O, is a singer, rapper, actor, dancer, and the youngest member of the boy band Block B. He is also a part of the group's sub-unit "Bastarz." P.O has played roles in famous dramas like Hotel Del Luna, Mouse, More than Friends, etc. He is a cast member and a mentor in various shows to date. Ji-hoon does not have a social media account.
5. Chungha
Chungha is a former member of the girl group I.O.I and a participant of the Mnet's survival show Produce 101. The 26-year-old singer is currently a soloist under MNH Entertainment. Chungha is a singer and a choreographer. She does have an Instagram account, but it is run by her manager instead.
6. Stray Kids
Stray Kids is the ace group of the 4th generation in K-Pop. The group has been active since 2017 and achieving many heights to date. It is a self-producing group. 3RACHA, the sub-unit of Stray Kids, has the highest credit points in the KOMCA charts than any other 4th gen idol. The members do not individually have a social media account but use a shared Instagram id instead.
7. Tomorrow X Together
Tomorrow X Together is a five-membered boy band that made its debut in 2019 under BigHit Entertainment. The members are Yeonjun, Soobin, Huening Kai, Beomgyu, and Taehyun. Out of the five members in the group, Yeonjun has an individual Instagram account. The others share one Twitter ID. Yeonjun also uses the shared Twitter ID.
8. ITZY
ITZY is an active girl group under JYP Entertainment. It has five members Yeji, Ryujin, Lia, Yuna, and Chaeryeong. The girls do not possess an individual social media account but share one Instagram account to post their selfies and make reels. The girls are currently on their US tour and have a Japanese album to be released.
9. Xdinary Heroes
Xdinary Heroes is one of the latest groups of JYP Entertainment, which debuted in 2021. They released their first digital song, "Happy Death Day," and gained attention online. Xdinary Heroes released its first album, "Hello World," in 2022. The members of this group do not have individual social media accounts but share one Instagram id.
10. NMIXX
NMIXX is the latest girl group of JYP Entertainment. They made their debut with the album "AD MARE" in early 2022. The group consists of seven members and is formerly known as JYPn. The group recently released its second album Entwurf late in 2022. The girls share an Instagram ID and recently made their profiles on JYP's Bubble App.
