Fu Shiqi, known as Cheng Yi, is a Chinese singer and actor, born on 17th May 1990. During school he participated in many dramas and musicals, having rich experience in stage performances. In 2011, he made his TV debut in the drama Beauty World. In 2012, he graduated from Central Academy of Drama. He was part of the TV drama, Noble Aspirations, in 2016, which gained him increased popularity in China. He is well known for his roles in Love and Redemption and Immortal Samsara. Another one of his hit dramas was Mysterious Lotus Casebook released in 2023.
1. South Wind Knows
It is a mystery romance drama released in 2023. Zhu Jiu is a surgeon and Fu Yun Shen is a researcher at a pharmaceutical company who embark on a humanitarian medical rescue in an underprivileged region. Due to a misunderstanding, they get on the wrong foot. Over time they start to feel the pull of attraction. However, Fu Yun gets injured in a car crash and their relationship is doomed. Two years later they met again but in different circumstances.
2. The Big Rescue
It is an action-adventure movie released in 2018, starring Cheng Yi, Arale Cui, and Wen Song. The story revolves around an elite dog force that is working with humans to complete a rescue mission. Chen Bin after retiring from being a police dog trainer spends his days together with a Labrador Retriever, Da Xiong. He now works as a manager at a five-star pet hotel. There he takes in ten strays and trains them to be a special team. At the hotel’s third anniversary, all dogs in town gather to stay the night at the hotel. The next morning everyone is shocked to see their pets have disappeared.
3. Noble Aspirations
It is a wuxia fantasy romance drama released in 2016. One night, at the age of eleven, Zhang Xiao Fan’s entire village was killed, leaving only Lin Jin Yu, his friend, and Uncle Wang, a villager to survive. Later they were adopted by the Qing Yun faction. Lu Xue Qi is from the same faction as Zhang. She is called the fairy from Nine Skies for her beauty and the ability to enchant the entire country. The daughter of the archlord, Bi Yao, is very energetic and loves Zhang.
4. Haunting Love
It is a horror mystery film released in 2012, starring Xin Zhi Lei and Cheng Yi. A well-known female anchor of a radio station, Xiao Xiao Ya, witnessed Li Ming Xuan, her fiance, cheating with Xu Jia Wen, his ex-girlfriend just seven days before their wedding. She could not bear the betrayal and committed suicide. Fortunately, she gets rescued and resurrected, but her fiancé jumps off a building and dies.
5. Love And Redemption
It is a wuxia fantasy romance drama released in 2020, starring Cheng Yi and Yuan Bing Yan. Chu Xuan Ji is the daughter of the Shaoyang Sect Leader, who is deprived of her six senses. At a tournament she meets a skilled disciple, Yu Si Feng, of Lize Palace who was born on the same day as her, and they develop a friendship. Promising to meet again, when Si Feng returns he is punished for breaking the rules and has to wear a mask that could harm his life. Four years later their destiny intertwined again.
6. Lost Summer
Lost Summer is a romance movie released in 2015, starring Swan Wen and Cheng Yi. Chong Zi is an eighteen-year-old girl who deeply falls in love with Luo Zhi Xia, a beautiful and funny university student. She soon learns that she is dying of a heart disease. During the 2009 summer, Chong tasted love and also lost it all together.
7. Stand By Me
It is a historical mystery drama released in 2021. During the 9th Century of the Tang Dynasty, the Emperor is Locked in a power struggle with a group of formidable eunuchs. However, he strikes back by ordering the death of Qiu Shi Liang, their ringleader, but the mission gets botched. The eunuchs get their revenge by killing their Emperor’s minister, along with his family. His twin daughters Qui Yan Zhi and Cheng Ruo Yu however escape.
8. Immortal Samsara: Part 1

Inside the Girls is a historical thriller film released in 2014, directed by Liang Ting, starring Zhao Duo Na, Yin Zheng, Cheng Yi, and Swan Wen. Set in 1930s China, it tells the story of two girls who have moved into an old haunted dormitory. They begin to get involved in the mysterious deaths of their roomies.
