Movie Digest
Jin Won is a number one high school marathon runner. He is determined to become a marathon superstar one day, and right now he is set on running his next race. But he starts finding it difficult to maintain his marathon stats. That’s when his coach introduces him to Sang-Ha as an arbitrator.
Sang-Ha is completely antithetical to Jin Won. Even in the most difficult of situations, Sang-Ha finds a way to smile. He is a school track team member, and he loves to run.
Unhappy with the coach’s decision, Jin Won doesn’t get along with Sang-Ha. But you know what happens when opposites meet…. they attract.
The Feel-Good Part
The chemistry between the two main leads is beautiful. Their relationship is excellent. They have a perfect grumpy x sunshine trope and nothing feels over the top, and the movie shows how the world will look without the homophobes.
The Disappointing Factor
The disheartening part was that the movie ended. It is such a comforting movie that you just don’t want it to end. Also, if there was no time factor, some things could have been better.
In-Depth Analysis
The story revolves around Jin Won, a record-breaking marathon runner, and Sang-Ha, a school track team member. Jin Won is an exemplary marathon runner and is determined to stand up to the expectations of his coach and colleagues. But problems start arising when he finds it difficult to maintain his records. His coach introduces Sang-Ha, to help him with his marathon, and their story begins.
Sang-Ha is such a loveable character, how can anyone not fall for him? He is the sunshine on a rainy day, and the way he always stays optimistic is so inspiring.
The loan sharks in the movie are the kindest people. They cheer for sang-ha to win the race so that they can get their money and become sad at the end because they’ll not meet him again. Honestly, you’ll find many adorable characters in the movie.
Star Power
The actors playing Jin Won and Sang-Ha have done an excellent job. The supporting roles were also good.
Overall Opinion
If you are looking for a heartwarming movie, this one is for you. The movie is to the point without any drama.
