Movie Digest

During the spread of the novel coronavirus, Sung Hyun returns to Korea after studying abroad. He has to spend 14 days in quarantine. Soo-Jin misses him but because of the covid-19 self-isolation, she has to communicate with him without any type of contact.

In two weeks, they both go through a lot of self-reflection and discover a lot of things about their relationship.

The Feel-Good Part

Soo-Jin is an amazing vlogger. Every time she is vlogging, the movie feels special. It doesn’t feel like she is acting, she is a natural.

The Disappointing Factor

The main leads have some communication gap between them which at some point feels irritating. But it was okay because it is a short film and nothing was too exaggerated.

In-Depth Analysis

Untact is a short film made for the Samsung products promotion, but it focuses more on the story of two people separated due to covid-19. It is a touching and realistic story that shows a different aspect of the quarantine period.

It’s a story about Soo-Jin and Sung Hyun who were in a relationship but did not communicate their feelings entirely. The 2 weeks give them an unexpected opportunity to think about many things about their relationship.

The story is very realistic and the acting is so natural that it feels like things are actually happening with two normal people.

Star Power

The star cast is amazing. Kim Go Eun has done an exceptional job as a vlogger, she is an outstanding actress and was perfect for the role.

Overall Opinion

It is an awesome short film, with an incredible star cast and marvelous acting. It is worth giving their story a try.
