Drama Digest –

Tawan’s uncle Yhod once made a promise of arranging the marriage between their children to Trong. Tawan and Yafda, Trong’s daughter, disliked each other and never wished to get married. Tawan is a poor and rustic guy and is in a relationship with Bunlaeng. He doesn’t make money and just spends money from Yuanjai. Somehow, marriage causes many problems. The stunning Yafda will have many problems in life because of a marriage being already arranged without her consent.

The Feel-Good Part –

Yafda is married to Tawan in an unfortunate situation when she didn’t wish to marry him in the first place. Tomorn gives his hand to pay a debt for Yuanjai, so she allows Tawan to marry him as Yadfa. Tawan is immature, irresponsible and not aware of earning money. When both of them get married, Tawan’s life changes when he sees Yafda being bullied by Sawai and Gingkaew. The arranged marriage, drama and complicated plot is unique and impressive. Some are dramatic, and some scenes easily transition to comedy and lightheartedness swiftly.

The Disappointing Factor –

The series faces a backlash of showing scenes of sensitive topics like Rape. It has been made fun of, and each member of the family sees the situation differently. The victim, Tawan, is being blamed for this and it triggers the audience to not watch further. Many topics like this are being displayed in this series and have created biases in people’s morals. Many scenarios are toxic and spread negative energy. The unfair occurrence for both the main leads getting married without their consent is very disapproving to watch. Although it is common, it is still not a preferable watch over the fairytale romance common in dramas.

In-Depth Analysis –

The initial episodes were comedy and romantic, with good interactions and dialogues. It slowly transitions to melodrama, where the big twist comes when they both get married. The chemistry between them is very well-executed and the acting is powerful. Other characters also show excellent acting skills, even though they are negative characters, they show their hatred well. The satirical approach of showing everything is nuanced and prime is also applaudable to watch.

Star Power –

The main lead is heartless, mean and cold-hearted, appropriate to the storyline. Tomorn is a good looking but a negative character who doesn’t care for his wife, Tawan, at all. He is phenomenal in portraying his expressions, which will end in the viewers hating him for life, which is the main motto. The female lead, Tawan, is a sweet and meek girl who is hardworking and good looking. She loves and respects Tomorn.

Overall Opinion –

Love with a dark twist, it is a worthwhile watch!
