The drama returns to our screens with lovely romantic chemistry and charming characters, and the program’s production quality is still superb. Every shot is near-perfection, with meticulous attention to camerawork and setting. The visual appearances in the drama narrative are captivating.
The disappointing factor
The drama is a sequel to the smash hit ‘I Told Sunset About You,’ therefore the second season has high expectations. However, compared to its forerunner, it fails to live up to expectations in terms of storyline attractiveness. The plot seemed off-kilter, and the cheating plotline appears to be aggravating. The quality of the screenwriting was poorer than in the previous season.

The Thai sequel to ‘I told sunset about you’ is ‘I promised the moon To You.’ The prequel in and of itself raised the bar for the boy love genre. Season 2 was not as good as Season 1, but it had its potential because of the excellent production quality. The drama focuses on the guys’ courtship while also attempting to shed light on the transition to maturity. The protagonist matures and discovers self-love before falling in love with others. Although the relationship between Teh and Oh-aew is real and significant, the characters nonetheless grow and evolve independently of one another. The composition of the dialogues and the sub-themes were moving.

Billkin and PP as Teh and Oh-Aew are the main characters. They thoroughly absorbed the drama’s emotion and produced the best drama acting work. On-screen, they had the perfect chemistry. The supporting cast was not merely an afterthought; they were integral to the story’s supporting narrative from start to finish.
Overall opinion
Overall, the drama was a much-anticipated boy-girl love story. It wonderfully conveyed the excellent quality of production and acting. Even though the plotline was not as magical as the previous season’s, it was nonetheless enjoyable. Despite this, the drama stands out among other guy love dramas. Finally, the drama ‘I promised you the moon’ is worth seeing at least once.
