Drama Digest
The story revolves around a young businessman named Paul and how he intends to take Crown Diamond, the business that his mother previously owned. He is determined to take revenge on his father for abandoning him and his mother behind and moving in with his new wife Netselao and adopted daughter Nainapha, who, he believes, stole the affection his father was supposed to give him. He hates her with everything he has but after some time and after a few incidents, he realizes that the awful things in the household were caused by his stepmother and her lover Singkorn, and Nainapha was only a victim, like him. Despite his efforts to win his stepmother’s trust and plotting a grand scheme, he starts to help her secretly until intimacy grows into love, and he makes a connection with her. With love on the line, the plan to disclose the stepmother’s mask begins. But will they be able to do it without losing each other?
The Feel-Good Part
This drama has a well-planned story and a little better acting. The story is a very strong point in any drama, and let’s be honest, it is very rare to find a story in Thai dramas. Most of them are full of cliches and cringe acting. But this one breaks all stereotypes. It has an amazing story that will keep you on the edge throughout the show. from the very first episode, it starts to form a strong base for the whole drama and the revenge aspect that comes out is just fantastic.
The Disappointing Factor
Despite having a great story, the show feels a bit draggy and might feel a little boring. the execution is not good and not up to the mark. They go around adding a new character in every episode to make it interesting, but it just makes the drama go on the less pleasant side more and made the drama boring.
In-Depth Analysis
Fah Mee Tawan is a revenge-based, romance drama, where the male lead plans on taking revenge on his father for taking his mother’s company by false pretense and abandoning him and his mother, along with falling in love with his father’s second wife’s adopted daughter. This sounds kind of complicated and believe me, it is. But not in a bad way. This drama has a solid story, and the acting is far better than expected. The plot is somewhat like the Korean drama “the innocent man”, but not completely, this one has its own story but the base of both the dramas is a bit similar. So, if you have watched the innocent man and liked it, and are looking for something around that plot, you can watch this show.
Star Power
The star cast is really amazing. They know how to act and know what they were doing. There are no screeching characters who just make you feel like dropping a show. no, none. All of them are good.
Overall Opinion
Overall, the drama is good with a great storyline and fantastic plot. it gets you hooked from the very first episode and keeps it till the end. It is worth giving a try.
