Drama Digest

Two boys of Grade 3, Anirut and Ram, who have never talked to each other, have come to a Boy Scout camp together in the year 2000. How they bond over and what happens in the camp form the crux of the story including the misadventures. This is mini web series produced by Wayufilm Productions.

The Feel-Good Part

The story of the series is based on teenage and sheds light on the various issues that any teen goes through. Though the actors in the series are relatively new, they have done a wonderful job in portraying their characters. Their interactions are sweet and cute. The series also does a great job of bringing forth problems like bullying among students. What is impressive is that the series is very realistic. The scenes are like what happens in the real world and are not exaggerated.

The Disappointing Factor

The storyline is not very definite and it feels like many subplots have been compiled together and presented. The relationship between Anirut and Ram doesn’t have a definite ending and hence, it is up to the viewers to conclude. Also, it cannot be strictly categorized as a BL series because it feels more like a bromance and friendship between the leads. The romantic aspect is minimal. The backstory of the characters is not clear and there is very little room for any concluding the possible future of the characters.

In-Depth Analysis

This mini-series is about Wut and Ram, who participate in a Boy Scout camp together. Wut is shy and frail and bullied by other students because of it. However, Ram comes to his rescue and protects him. Ram even nurses Wut back to health after he has an asthma attack. Whenever Wut needs him, Ram is there for him. This leads to Wut developing a crush on Ram as Ram is like a saviour for Wut. This series also touches on sensitive topics like the confusion of the person who has feelings for the same sex, sexual curiosity, toxic masculinity etc.

Star Power

Kluk Atichart Sukwattana plays the role of Wut and Fluke Danuphon Chaliao plays the role of Ram.

Overall Opinion

Though the team had the vision to create a masterpiece, they haven’t been able to actually realize it. This mini-series is an okay watch if you have an hour or less at hand to spare.
