Drama Digest

COVID-19 is one such phenomenon that brought the world to a standstill while it went around infecting each and every person around the world. All sectors of life were deeply challenged by it, including the education sector. This story follows college students who navigate through their lives on an online platform to learn.

The Feel-Good Part

This story is easily relatable to students who faced the same problem when they were forced to adopt methods online for completing their course curriculum. This story is easily relatable to students who faced the same problem when they were forced to adopt methods online for completing their course curriculum. It highlights the short and sweet joys that students were able to experience despite the fact that the majority of the world had to shift to online mode, including education.

The Disappointing Factor

Students who rewatch this might have to re-live those experiences, and therefore it makes it a little disheartening that all sectors, including education, had to go through something like this. It is also a little sad that they were not able to extend the story of this show to include the individual struggles of the characters to a greater extent, which would have greatly contributed to the story and made this a top tier drama.

In-Depth Analysis

Living life as a college student is one of the best experiences one can imagine. Through all the ups and downs, one experiences in their college life, they learn to grow and become a better human. Joo Mi, Soo Jak, Mi Sook, Guk Eul, and Dong Hee are students who were dreaming of experiencing college life by being on campus, socializing and interacting with people, and learning by attending classes physically. However, their imagination is cut short with the spread of COVID-19. They are forced to shift from offline to online mode. While the online mode seems inexpensive and flexible, it starts to weigh on students and affect them on a daily basis as it does not offer the same extent of reach that an offline class does. The story focuses on them and their struggles as college students during the era of COVID-19, which transformed the education sector and students’ lives.

Star Power

Min Chae Eun as Kim Joo Mi, Jeong Soo Hyun as Kye Soo Jak, Park Ye Jin as Ahn Mi Sook, Yoon Do Gun as Guk Eul, and Son Bo Seung as Kim Dong Hee are all around the age of college students and some of them are even older than college students, but they perform exceptionally well in bringing out the struggles college students, go through on the online platforms.

Overall Opinion

This drama is perfect if you are up for it. It can be easily completed in a while and has a unique charm to it, which makes it impossible to leave without completing watching all the episodes at once.
