Drama Digest
This show is adapted from the mahua “Bright Stars: Pick A Boss To Be A Husband”, wherein a woman was killed by a collaborative plan between her own spouse and her sister. The second season follows the 2021 show when season one was released.
The Feel-Good Part
For a short series, this does extremely well in portraying the raw emotions the character feels at each and every moment. This show particularly shines because it focuses on bringing out the story it intends to through the characters.
The Disappointing Factor
It was really disappointing to see such a large number of episodes may make one overwhelmed and prevent them from taking up this show given that you also have to watch season one, which has roughly the same number of episodes. the same time, the actors fail to bring out the emotions and their acting feels lackluster and awkward at times, which diverts our attention from the story to other minute details and distracts us.
In-Depth Analysis
This program is based on the mahua “Bright Stars: Pick A Boss To Be A Husband,” in which a lady is murdered by a plot devised by her own husband and sister. Season one follows her as such and reveals several things to her that do not make sense to her. Season two focuses on her coming to terms with the truth and lies. She also discovers whether all she believed was either a truth or a lie through various incidents that happen.
Star Power
The actors try to perform well, but they do not live up to any expectations. Thus, this falls short of and feels robbed of being at most an average drama.
Overall Opinion
This drama should be skipped and even if you do have time to watch it would definitely not be worth it.
