 The Feel-Good Part

Being a romantic drama series, the chemistry between the lead pair is the vital element, and the actors deliver what was expected from them. Their chemistry is a treat to watch on screen. Further, the added moments of thrill during judo matches and comic scenes make it fun to watch. The visually stunning locations and the soothing background score add to the appeal of the series.

 The Disappointing Factor

Even though the plot is strong and the right direction could provide the audience a wholesome entertainment, the makers somehow missed the mark. The makers tried their best to inculcate a lot in the short duration of the show. However, in the process, the screenplay of the show felt rushed, which failed to leave an impact on the audience. The lack of character buildup and the abrupt ending added to the list of disappointments from the series.

 Star Power

The BL Korean drama stars Jeon YuBin as the popular judo champion of the school, Hyeon Woo, along with Lee JungMin as Kim Do Jin,  the judo genius freshman. Both the actors played their roles exceptionally well and looked good together. Their chemistry, accompanied by soothing background music feels dreamy. Their love for each other and their passion for judo are evident in their actions and expressions. Min InGi as Han JiSeok too played his role with conviction and was a perfect choice for this role. The rest of the cast too gave a brilliant performance.

 Overall Opinion

Blue of Winter is a great show to watch. However, the duration of the show and its fast-paced screenplay can be disappointing. Watch it, if you are a fan of stunning locations, soothing background music, and a feel-good, romantic series. The plotline of the show will surely keep you intrigued and provide wholesome entertainment.
