Drama Digest

The drama revolves around Oh Hyun Jin (Uhm Ji Won). She is the perfect career woman. She boasts of being the youngest of all the board members and executives at the company. She always does her best at whatever task she is assigned and produces excellent results. Everyone is proud and jealous of her and wants to be able to work like her. However, the tables turn for her when she gives birth to her first child. Taking care of a child is no easy task, and she finds herself stuck not knowing anything about childcare or even how to bring up the baby. So, after she is discharged from the hospital, she gets enrolled in a birth care center that teaches people about postpartum care, including several A-list celebrities and people from high-class society. On this journey, she meets several women who prove to be an excellent influence on her.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama does provide great comedic relief, and you end up rolling on the floor, unable to control yourself. At the same time, it realistically showcases the troubles, judgement, and worries that a woman faces while giving birth to children. One can like how realistically this TV program depicts couples. One may particularly like how the “will they, won’t they” romantic subplot involving one of the moms in the center was handled while considering the mother’s personality and existence.

The Disappointing Factor

They hardly attempted to atone for their prickly, pompous mother. She might actually be a very nice person, but I think the author forgot that this is a very low-stakes drama about a group of mothers set in a birth care center. Because of the way she demeans and talks down to any mother who doesn’t go above and beyond for her child-like she does, she could almost be considered an antagonist because of the direct opposition she poses to the main character.

In-Depth Analysis

Oh Hyun Jin (Uhm Ji Won) has had a successful professional career. She is accustomed to excelling in all she does and is the youngest member of the company’s board of executives. But she gets a surprise when she gives birth to her first kid. She immediately learns that, despite being an expert at all things work-related, giving birth was more complicated than she had anticipated and that she has no idea how to raise a child. After being released from the hospital, she goes to a birth care center; this upscale facility is where even A-list celebrities go for postpartum care. She is shocked to learn that she is the oldest mother in the group and ashamed to see that everyone else appears to be an expert when it comes to caring for infants. Luckily, the center’s other moms serve as an inspiration. Cho Eun Jung (Park Ha Sun), often known as the Queen Bee, is one of them. She seems to be the ideal mother, and everyone wants to befriend her to learn her parenting techniques. The center’s vivacious manager, Choi Hye Sook (Jang Hye Jin), is a true mine of information when it comes to everything childcare-related.

Star Power

The drama boasts Uhm Ji Won, who plays Oh Hyun Jin, Park Ha Sun, who plays Cho Eun Jung, and Jang Hye Jin, who plays Choi Hye Sook, all of whom give phenomenal performances as the main cast of the drama.

Overall Opinion

This drama is an amazing start for those who want to watch dramas that deal with what comes after marriage, i.e. children and family.
