Drama Digest

A Korean fantasy BL serial First Love Again is about a reborn man who seeks out his long-lost love. The well-known author of the bestseller On the Day the Second Moon Rises is Yeon Seok. This best-selling historical romance centers on a reincarnated man who reconciles with his lover after many lives. Yeon Seok’s novel is essentially his autobiography, which his readers are unaware. His memories from his previous life had followed him into the current timeframe. Yeon Seok was originally a servant who lived during the feudal era. Yeon Seok worked for Ha Yeon, a compassionate woman, and fell in love with her. However, because of their social status differences, they were never acknowledged as a couple. In their subsequent lives, Yeon Seok and Ha Yeon met again and fell in love. However, Ha Yeon’s dangerous profession as a spy put her in danger for her safety. Yeon Seok was so grieved by her untimely death that he killed himself. Yeon Seok showed kindness to a stray cat outdoors in his first existence. An enigmatic god with magical abilities, Sin Bi, was represented by the animal. To show  gratitude for his generosity, she promised to grant him a wish. Yeon Seok aspired for love rather than wealth or influence. Unfortunately, in his first two incarnations, Sin Bi had difficulty granting Yeon Seok’s wish. On their third try, Sin Bi assures him that she will reconnect him with his ex-girlfriend. Ha Yeon is ultimately located in the present timeline by Sin Bi. There is a twist, though. Ha Yeon has been reborn as a man and is unaware of his previous existence. The drama is about how Yeon Seok handles the circumstances and whether will he be able to fulfill his wish to be in a relationship with Ha Yeon.
