Drama Digest
Aoi Minase is a single mother in her forties. She is a successful author of romance novels but she has something that makes her worry. Her daughter Sora is in her twenties but doesn’t have a boyfriend due to her personality. Sora is a typical otaku who is introverted and not very outgoing. She also worries about her mother being too Naïve. Both of them worry about each other and decide that it is time to fall in love and date.
The Feel-Good Part
The mother-daughter relationship is very entertaining and cute. It shows the characters of different ages and hoe the society expects them to be. This story makes you feel warm.
The Disappointing Factor
It may seem a bit dramatic at times and it would’ve been nice if we gat to see sora and Hikaru together but despite that it is a great story which doesn’t disappoint you.
In-Depth Analysis
Minase, a single mother who worries about her daughter Sora who is an introvert and Sora worries about her mother who is too naive. Both of them have a sweet relationship, they care about each other the most. They decide to fall in love and date so that they could be happy. The familial bond is expressed very well in the story. Both mother and daughter have their own love story. They face the male-dominated world while having each other’s back. They indirectly show who Sora and Minase end up with in the end. The love interest character for Sora, Hikaru is a very entertaining character.
Star Power
Kanno Miho and Minami Hamabe brought the story to life with their excellent acting. The onscreen chemistry between Okada Kenshi and Minami is great.
Overall Opinion
This is an excellent story with great portrayal of familial bond. Acting and plot both are excellent leaving the viewers feel warm and wholesome. It is definitely worth watching.
