Drama Digest –

Noburu is a handsome and capable designer who earns a high salary and has a good marriage life with Aiko. He is betrayed that his wife is cheating on him and having an extra-marital affair with her boss. He decided to seek revenge. It is adapted from the manga series “Saretagawa no Blue” by Semoto Chika.

The Feel-Good Part –

The cast of the show is impressive and attractive. They did their duties wholeheartedly. The synergy and companionship between each character are very good and it is one of the main highlights of the show. The occasional jokes and comedy done to reduce the dark energy due to the tragic pandemic is impressive and required, and the makers keep this need first. The shooting done amidst the pandemic is nice, and production follows all the protocols.

The Disappointing Factor –

The biggest flaw of the show is the factor of how short this series is. The musical segment of the show is missing some parts. Despite being an inspiring story, the story is not new enough to excite the audience. Such similar stories had already been made earlier and had been much of a success and a cult classic for all. It could’ve been a good show without the segment of such cruelty and brutality shown by her husband.

In-Depth Analysis –

The best part of the plot is the overall crux. It is the hero of the show. The story of infidelity and heartbreak is not shown as the main highlight in most plots due to being the “negative” aspect, but this story’s main crux is the lack of honesty. He is powerful, but he lacks good values and morals for maintaining his relationships, which gives a message to the viewers on how important this aspect is. It is an ironic show which is a mirror for all those inconsistencies present in the minds of men who consider them strong and successful from the outside.

Star Power –

This drama lacks cliches and the female and male leads are unproblematic. They know each other for a long time and that gives an excellent foundation to their romantic relationship, and they fit each other well the way Aiko betrays Nokuro is heartbreaking and painful to watch. With good and supportive friendships, there is no backstabbing and that makes the drama very heartwarming.

Overall Opinion –

Overall, the storyline and plot will be interesting for someone who likes to watch action and adventure. It is recommended for them.
