Drama Digest

This Japanese drama is about Yusuke Tsuruta, the first-place holder of the university and the son of the owner of a leather-bag store. He is extremely talented and confident and has a girlfriend, Tsuneta Tomomi. Yusuke, after graduation, starts his own company with the motto ‘Company is not school!’.

The Feel-Good Part

It feels quite exciting to watch the characters give their best to make their dreams true and fulfil their ambitions despite the hardships that come their way. The dynamics between Yusuke, his girlfriend Tsuneta, and his friend and partner Kengo Sato are worth watching. Also, the push and pull relationship between Yusuke and his investor, Teppei adds to the excitement.

The Disappointing Factor

The show feels dragged at some points and could be a bit more expressive in terms of the plotline.

In-Depth Analysis

Yusuke is an outstanding student in his university and after graduating, sets up his own company named ‘Find Value’. He is helped in his business by his girlfriend from his student days and a business enthusiast, Tsuneta and his classmate, Kengo. He secures investment from Teppei Fujimura, the president of a well-known company. Yusuke, who was quite confident that his company would do well, is shocked when he learns that Teppei had ulterior motives all along. How Yusuke hits rock bottom and whether he rises again to become successful or not forms the crux of the series.

Star Power

The series consists of a charismatic cast who have done a very good job of portraying their characters. The main role of Tsuruta Yusuke is played by Nomura Shuhei and the supporting characters of Tsuenta Tomomi, Sato Kengo and Fujimura Teppei are played by Fujii Karen, Sano Reo and Miura Shohei respectively. Maeda Goki and Nakamura Yurika also play important roles in the series.

Overall Opinion

This series showcases the story of struggle, revenge and success of passionate young people who have lots of dreams and ambitions to fulfil. It portrays the hardships that young people go through, their dilemmas and hard work, and how they overcome them. If you need something to motivate and push you to do something for your ambitions, then you should give this series a try.
