Kyusei Sentai Wakuseiber Season 2 is a Japanese web-television series which serves as a sequel to ‘Kyusei Sentai Wakuseiber’. It is a superhero series, the storyline of which follows the battles of four men, who stand for good against the evil forces who want to destroy Earth. This series which is available on YouTube includes ‘Tokusatsu’, that is it makes use of special effects.

The Feel-Good Part

The series is full of action sequences which will keep you on edge throughout the series. The special effects are done perfectly which makes this series a treat to watch. The interactions among various characters are quite interesting as well. Moreover, the different weapons and fighting styles of the characters piques the curiosity of the viewers as well. Since we all, at some point in our life, have watched Power Rangers, this web series will be a refreshing remembrance of the same. Additionally, since this is a very short series, you can watch it even when you are in a time crunch.

The Disappointing Factor

The second season takes off some time later than when the first season ended. So, there are some plot holes, and a few don’t make any sense yet. Also, the duration of the episodes is very less which renders it impossible to explain the storyline completely. This may also leave the viewers unsatisfied.

In-Depth Analysis

Kyusei Sentai Wakuseiber is an action superhero series where four men along with a mysterious woman and a rabbit are set on a mission to protect Earth from evil beings. The villain, Emperor Giga and his minions are set upon finding the best human DNA so that they can make a powerful evil body from it, and use it to destroy Earth. The four different superheroes are Yuki Katori called Red Mars, Satoru Mizusaki called Blue Mercury, Makoto Hibino as Yellow Sun, Reion Kido as Green Jupiter and Otoha Ishina as Pink Earth. They all have some common weapons like unnamed brace changer and planet cubes as well as individual weapons such as Burst Blade, Splash Arrow, Flash Axe, Gail Boomerang and Gaia Rod respectively.

Star Power

The cast includes Eisuke Takamatsu in the role of Yuki Katori, Kotaro Matsuo in the role of Satoru Mizusaki, Mizuki Seiji as Makoto Hibino, Minato Saito as Reion Kido and Nonoka Sato as Otoha Nishina. Other characters are played by Purapinu, Arashi Umekawa and Shijimi.

Overall Opinion

This short drama series is full of action scenes with perfect timing. It will be a perfect getaway from the usual kind of dramas and can be watched within a short period of time. Overall, it will prove to be a perfect way to pass time if you are looking for something short, action-packed and entertaining as well.
