The Feel-Good Part
The beginning of the story is cute and charming. The constant healthy bickering between the leads is humorous to watch. The premise of the story is decent.

The show is said to be based in America, but it fails to depict the real American scenario or vibe. It has failed to depict realism. Apart from that, the female lead has been made to play many roles like being a community helper. She’s even jailed for different reasons and involved with the law even when she’s just a fashion designer by profession. This makes the story confusing.
In-Depth Analysis
The story is based in New York, America. The male lead, Xu Tian, is a Chinese-American orphan who was raised by his neighbors. This is the reason why he has enormous respect for his neighbors. He’s charming and intelligent, a soft person on the inside but rough and strict-looking on the outside. He aspires to become a lawyer to help all the poor people honestly. On the other hand, the female lead, Sheng Xia, is a Chinese studying fashion in the United States. She’s passionate about her studies and wants to make a mark in the fashion world. She even dreams of opening her very own fashion boutique along Fifth Avenue. She even opens up a small boutique in Manhattan after graduation. She also has a boyfriend whom she’s been together with for three years. Her boyfriend is always proposing to her to marry him, but she always rejects him by giving the excuse of her career. While the truth is that she does not love him. One day, while participating in a fashion show, Xia meets Tian after she accidentally hurts him. As soon as they meet and get to talking, their thoughts intertwine. They get along immediately. Since then, they become pretty great friends and meet up and help each other regularly. I’m this process, both of them fall in love with each other.
Star Power
The friendship of the male and female leads is a delight to watch before they discover their true feelings for each other. But most of the audience watched the show for Li Yifeng starring as Xu Tian. The entire story revolves around only the main leads, but Li Yifeng is undoubtedly the show’s star.
Overall Opinion
The story had a strong start but the quality diminished badly towards the end. It’s a cute storyline that has tried to incorporate many things but it’s not worth a rewatch.
