The feel-good part

The bromance in the drama was good and their interactions were all loveable. The intro and outro songs were beautiful. The execution was done perfectly. The script and direction were also good.

The disappointing factor

The ending was not satisfying. There was no character development and the female character looked forced into some scenes.

In-depth analysis

It is a detective drama with a touch of romance. The male and female leads had happy endings. The friendship scenes between the trio were adorable. The murder cases were interesting and every episode was interesting. The leads had bickering chemistry and some scenes were repetitive. The mystery in the drama was remedial in ways. Yan looked like a bully and childish. Her character can be great one second and annoying the next minute. The cases were rather dull. The story was rich but the placement of the female lead was out of place. The story is engaging and cool. The main highlight of the drama was the chemistry between Lu Yao and the policeman. The cases were well-written and the deductions were logical.

Star power

The main cast included Xiao Yan who played her character flawlessly. The supporting cast was fabulous too. Hu Yi Tian and Leon Zhang were so good together. The trio uplifted the drama with their amazing performances.

Overall opinion

The drama is adapted from the novels about Poirot by Agatha Christie. It was a nice drama to watch that will provide you relief. It was light-hearted crime series to go ahead with.
