Drama Digest

Chen Zi Tong has lost luck. She was once a promising taekwondo athlete hoping to compete in the Olympics. However, a terrible knee injury caused by her plotting boyfriend and her dishonest friend forced her to abandon her sporting aspirations. She still dreams of returning to competition, but she was forced to work as a worker at a startup delivery company. After a strange misfortune, she met the young and successful CEO of a promising company, Fang Zhi Sheng. She managed to get a job at the headquarters of his company, but Fang Zhi Sheng soon found many of his charms (very effective for almost every other woman he met) in Chen Zi Tong. She has a distant and harsh personality, no matter what. However, Fang Zhi Sheng has one severe weakness. When he sees blood, he is frightened. They are slowly forming bonds as they go along. Fang Zi Sheng helps Chen Zi Tong start rehab from an injury and return to training. And she helps him confront his fears. Can you love flowers here as well?

The Feel-Good Part

The best part of the drama was the square of relationships (each making false assumptions about the other). Apart from the episodes that finally get together, I liked the relationship of the second couple. Three of them (SML, SFL, his daughter) had great chemistry, but it was timid. I loved little girls. Nothing else in this drama was interested to me. But there was nothing directly offensive, so I didn’t drop it. I need to watch this drama because the story is excellent and unique, the female lead herself has a strong personality, rugged, and Puff Kuo was great! The male lead also supports her very much and is her best friend. Another great job was done by the second couple (the brother of the leading actress and her aunt). Their love story is lovely and exciting. Oh yeah, all the episodes were adorable. It wasn’t pulled out, but it had enough grip to get excited about what would happen next.

The Disappointing Factor

But it was also because of the character that I couldn’t give it a 10-star rating. I love it and will see it again and again in the future because Fang Zhi Sheng is an equally ridiculous/eccentric dream ship and Mr Boss, who stands up and does everything for “his people”. There is more fire and passion in their relationship. I needed a little more. I loved Tian Lin and Fang Qing, and I liked how Tian Lin’s daughter stole the entire show, but I was a little tired of Fang Qing. She was one of the oldest characters here and acted like a high school girl throughout the drama.

In-Depth Analysis

I loved all the characters! I was surprised that the story was put together at the end, and the characters we consistently hated became more likeable. Even after the starring actor’s hellish childhood, there was rarely any “vengeance” in most cases. I loved the relationship that Ji Tong (Puff) and Hwang Ji Shen (Jiro) had throughout the drama, even when he tried to break it at work. It came as a harmless pleasure, and he was a “fool”. But what I liked the most was how much the boss Zi Tong was. And after they got together, the ease of their relationship reminded me a lot of Love Xiao Nai and Way. This is very rare as couples of such dramas are rarely seen as the director wants to add another layer of theatre. I think it’s a little cheap, but I’ll check it anyway! So it’s refreshing to see such a pair where the author doesn’t feel the need to add that element. I also liked that Zi Tong and Fang Zhi Sheng weren’t the only protagonists in this drama, but got about the same screen time (a little more in the drama) as Tian Lin and Fang Qing. I loved the growth of her story and how childish she was.

Star Power

The actor was good, but the acting was not appropriate. The audience liked the stunning scenes, but there were also confusing scenes.

Overall Opinion

Overall, it was a perfect story about a girl who learned to trust people again, giving her everything to compete and get her last chance to reach her goals. It was about a man struggling through his trauma to recover from an abusive childhood. And it was a story two completely different people who were reunited and given a second chance at romance.
