Just like us, Thailand is also obsessed with Korean actors and celebrities. There have been many adaptations of Korean dramas into Thai dramas adding a different twist to similar stories. Some Korean actors also started showing their interest in the Thai Entertainment Industry. Here are some Korean celebrities and movies in the Thai industry.
1. Jung Il Woo
Jung Il-woo is a South Korean actor. He is well-known for his roles in Unstoppable High Kick (2006), 49 Days (2011), The Return of Iljimae (2009), and Cinderella with Four Knights (2016). Jung starred in the Korean-Chinese drama 'High-End Crush' in 2015. He starred in the Thai Drama 'Love and Lies' in 2017.
2. BamBam
Kunpimook Bhuwakul, or BamBam, is a Thai rapper based in South Korea. He is a member of the K-pop boyband Got7 He starred in the Hong Kong movie 'Fairy Tale Killer' (2012) and the Thai short film 'Sanctuary' (2016).
3. Shim Eun Kyung
Shim Eun Kyung is a South Korean actress. She is the first Korean to win the Best Actress award at the Japanese Academy Awards in 2020. She starred in movies and dramas like Sunny (2011) and Fabricated City (2017). Sim Eun Kyung starred in Miss Granny (2014), which had a Thai remake as 'Suddenly 20' (2016).
4. Kim Soo Kyun
Kim Soo Kyun and Jun Ji Hyun starred in the K-Drama 'My Love from the Star' (2013), which has its remake in Thailand in 2019. The story was about an alien stuck on Earth for hundreds of years who falls for an actress.
5. Ha Ji Won
Hyun Bina and Ha Ji Won starred in the 2010 Korean drama 'Secret Garden.' The drama got remade in Thailand in 2019. Thai actors Ananda Everingham and Baifern Pimchanok played a role in the remake.
6. Chantavit Dhanasevi
Chantavit Dhanasevi is a Thai actor. He is well-known for his lead role in the Korean remake drama film 'Hello Stranger' (2010) and other films like 'One Day (2016) and 'ATM' (2012). 'Hello, Stranger' is a romantic film inspired by the book Two Shadows in Korea.
7. Aom-Sushar
Aom-Sushar is a Thai-Chinese actress well-known for starring in the movie 'Yes or No' (2010). She played a lead role in the Korean remake drama 'Autumn in my Heart' (2013). The story is about two children who accidentally got swapped at birth and went on to lead very different lives.
8. Choi jaeHyun
Choi Jae Hyun first starred in the drama 'He is Psychometric' in 2019. He starred in the Thailand-Korea collaboration drama 'Peach of Time' (2021) with actor Jimmy (Karn Kritsanaphan). Peach of Time is the first BL series starring actors from both Korea and Thailand.

Lee Ji-hoon is a South Korean Actor. In 2022 he went to Bangkok to meet his Thai fans at CentralWorld Live. The event got organized as an opportunity for fans to get personal with the actor of 'Taxi Driver. Lee Je-hoon is one of Korea's top actors, starring in movies like 'Bleak Night.'
10. Kim Seon-Ho
South Korean actor, Kim Seon-ho, debuted with 'Good Manager' in 2017. Kim Seon-ho gained recognition in Thailand with his K-drama Hometown Cha-cha-cha (2021) and Start-Up. In March 2022, he got seen at Bangkok airport, and Thai fans eagerly waited for him with advertisements on the back of 100 tuk-tuks, Bangkok's most famous public transport mode for visitors.
