Some Korean actors also started showing their interest in the Thai Entertainment Industry. Here are some Korean celebrities and movies in the Thai industry.

1. Jung Il Woo

Jung Il-woo is a South Korean actor. He is well-known for his roles in Unstoppable High Kick (2006), 49 Days (2011), The Return of Iljimae (2009), and Cinderella with Four Knights (2016). Jung starred in the Korean-Chinese drama 'High-End Crush' in 2015. He starred in the Thai Drama 'Love and Lies' in 2017.

 

2. BamBam

Kunpimook Bhuwakul, or BamBam, is a Thai rapper based in South Korea. He is a member of the K-pop boyband Got7 He starred in the Hong Kong movie 'Fairy Tale Killer' (2012) and the Thai short film 'Sanctuary' (2016).

 

3. Shim Eun Kyung

Shim Eun Kyung is a South Korean actress. She is the first Korean to win the Best Actress award at the Japanese Academy Awards in 2020. She starred in movies and dramas like Sunny (2011) and Fabricated City (2017). Sim Eun Kyung starred in Miss Granny (2014), which had a Thai remake as 'Suddenly 20' (2016).

 

4. Kim Soo Kyun

Chantavit Dhanasevi is a Thai actor. He is well-known for his lead role in the Korean remake drama film 'Hello Stranger' (2010) and other films like 'One Day (2016) and 'ATM' (2012). 'Hello, Stranger' is a romantic film inspired by the book Two Shadows in Korea.

10. Kim Seon-Ho

South Korean actor, Kim Seon-ho, debuted with 'Good Manager' in 2017. Kim Seon-ho gained recognition in Thailand with his K-drama Hometown Cha-cha-cha (2021) and Start-Up. In March 2022, he got seen at Bangkok airport, and Thai fans eagerly waited for him with advertisements on the back of 100 tuk-tuks, Bangkok's most famous public transport mode for visitors.
