1. Train To Busan

One day she gets hurt because of the thought that her son is going to leave her at the nursing home. In between, she found herself before a magical photo studio which makes her look young.

 

3. The King And The Clown

This film is the best portraying period film which has all the elements to make the audience entertained. The story revolves around the reign of King Yeonsan, two male street clowns, and tightrope walkers. It is full of theatrical performances and the love triangle composed by them.

 

4. Parasite

This is the story of the Kim family who struggles to make their ends meet. They take a sigh of relief when the son starts working as an English tutor for the wealthy Park family, Da Hye. It depicts the story of a boy named Deok Soo, whose family got separated during the Hungnam Evacuation of the Korean war. During the evacuation, his father and sister left in the north and he and his mother reaches the south. The whole family faces these turbulent times during the evacuation and tries to lift themselves from poverty.

 

7. The Face Reader

Nae Kyung has a unique talent for reading face. He can predict the personality, habits, and future only by looking at the lines of the face. Because of this talent, he got the attention of the king, who wants to use his service. But when suddenly the king dies he finds himself in the middle of warring Princes, who wanted to take place of the king.

 

8. The Wailing

The wailing depicts the story of a small village, where an epidemic has been spread. By the time epidemic becomes very fatalistic as villagers began to murder one another. So to get rid of this a Shaman has been hired to protect the village. It revolves around witches and other spiritual entities.

 

9. Burning

Burning depicts the love triangle of an aspiring novelist Lee Jong-Su, and his childhood friend Ben and Hae-Mi. It has been very beautifully shown the story of the three and the title gives more than one meaning. It was also a highly praised piece of Korean drama.

This movie is full of drama and trauma which shows the story of Oh Dae-Su, who has been in prison for 15 years for no reason.
