K-Pop is full of exceptional artists. Apart from being good at singing and dancing, they are also talented in a lot of spheres in life. Jackson Wang, for example, is an Olympic-level trained athlete, and the famous Cha Eunwoo would have been a judge right now had he not decided to join the entertainment industry instead. Hence, global fans should not be surprised to see some of their favorite idols speaking in their native languages, along with Korean. There are numerous singers and actors in Korea who are fluent in at least two languages other than their mother tongue, and it is probably their capability to communicate with fandoms from different countries that has contributed to such global success and fame. Lisa is undoubtedly the most swooned-at K-pop artist for her ability to speak multiple languages. It might be because of how good she is at each one of them. A member of the famous band, NCT, Ten originally hails from Thailand and was raised in a Thai-Chinese family, making him fluent in both. He was sent to study in an international school and hence has a good grasp of English. Moreover, getting selected to be a part of the K-pop group allowed him the opportunity to learn Korean as a trainee, hence, making him the only member of the band who can speak four languages.
7. Taecyeon (2PM)
As the main rapper in the boy band formed in 2008 by JYPE, Taecyeon has raised temperatures in the songs by rapping in various languages he is fluent in. Hailing from Thailand, BamBam is an actor, singer, and composer from the famous boy band, GOT7. One of the most respected Korean Pop idols, Sandara Park, is a senior to most of her counterparts, who are quite new to the industry. Being a part of the industry for more than fourteen years has lent her enough experience to be an amazing presenter, singer, and entertainer in the K-pop sphere. A native of the Philippines before moving to South Korea, she is fluent in Filipino, Korean and English, and can even speak Japanese and Mandarin a little!
