1. Squid Game

The story follows people desperate to pay off their debts and are sent to an unknown island to earn a large sum of money that can completely change their lives. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk revealed in an interview with KBS  that he is currently talking to Netflix about a confirmed second and third season. He also added that the main plot focuses on Seong Gi Hun solving puzzles surrounding the mastermind behind the game.

2. Yumi's Cells

Her lovely brain cells, responsible for every idea she has, every emotion she feels, and every action she takes, is shown in a humorous and captivating way. According to Song Jae Jung, the focus of the upcoming season is on introducing character development and evolution, and the plot will be more vibrant than the love theme of the first season.

3. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon

Do Bong Soon & Ahn Min Hyuk will not return in the sequel. The series now will be titled Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon, Kang Nam Soon, Bong Soon's cousin, and another person with superhuman strength. The actress Lee Yoo Mi will play Kang Nam, and K-pop idol turned actor Ong Seong Wu will play her love interest in the drama.

4. D.P.

Jun Hae-in plays a newly enlisted army soldier in D.P. Ahn Joon-ho and has seen first-hand how senior officers get badly treat the recruits. Joon Ho joined the group D.P. to track down traitors. According to actor Jung, K-drama shows the harsh reality of recruiting. D.P. season two was announced after it gained popularity. After expressing interest in the second season, Jung can return to his role.

5. All Of Us Are Dead

Based on the webtoon Now at Our School by Joo Dong-Geun, All of Us Are Dead was an international hit. Korean teen zombie drama centers on a group of friends struggling to survive a viral outbreak in their high school. Director Lee Jae Gyu noted that as  K-drama became popular, the first season started with the zombie saga, with suspense heralding a new season. All of Us Are Dead Season 2 will focus on zombie survival.

6. The Uncanny Counter

The Uncanny Counter has garnered audience support thanks to its unique perspective on death, ghosts, superpowers, and a story about forgiveness. The series' epilogue allows the opportunity for a second season. Fans have not received any updates from Netflix or OCN regarding the plot, cast, or otherwise. new release date. 7. Taxi Driver

After the gruesome murder of his mother, a former army commander named Kim Do Gi receives a job offer for Rainbow Taxi. SBS says the second season will air in 2022 and later in December.

8. Sweet Home

Based on Naver's webtoon, Sweet Home is one of Netflix's biggest hits in the post-apocalyptic K-dramas genre. Despite losing his family in an accident, he decided to move to a new apartment complex. Destruction broke out overnight as people started turning into monsters. The tenants must find a way to survive as they are trapped inside. Netflix said nothing got decided for season two, but the plan is still ongoing.

9. Work Now, Drink Later

If you loved the original cast of Work Now, Drink Later, you'll be happy to know they'll be back in the next season. Due to fans' excitement for a new season, the creators immediately decided and started planning a second season after the first season ended. The second season of this fun and heartwarming drama about longtime friends and drinking partners with unique chemistry will be similar to the first.

10. Romantic Doctor

The third season of the hit series Dr. Romance will air soon, and it will still include our favorite three-person board-certified surgeon. Ahn Hyo Seop will be Seo Woo Jin again. The upcoming season will get directed by Yoo In Shik, who also filmed the Dr. Romantic drama's previous series. It will be getting aired before the end of 2022.
