Korean celebrities have also been making news with their real estate acquisitions in South Korea, so it's not just the property market in Singapore that's hotting up. Here, we present a few Korean A-listers who own grand homes.
1. Kim Jaejoong
South Korean singer, composer, actor, and director Kim Jae-joong is also known just by his stage name, Jaejoong. He was one of the founding members of the boy band TVXQ and is currently a member of the Korean musical group JYJ. In Samsung-dong, the JYJ member resides in a 3,200 square foot luxury apartment. He spent around $2.5 million on it.
2. T. O. P. Bigbang
Rapper, singer, composer, actor, and record producer Choi Seung-hyun is better known by his stage name T.O.P. from South Korea. Before signing with the record company YG Entertainment and making his 2006 debut as the lead rapper for the boy band Big Bang, he used to perform as an underground rapper. T.O.P. of Big Bang resides in a $2.8 million villa in the UN Village. Actor Jung Junho and singer Lee Hyori live nearby.
3. Kim Hyun-Joong
Actor, singer, and songwriter Kim Hyun-joong is from South Korea. He performed in the Korean dramas Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss while a member of the boy band SS501. The singer and actor resides in a more than $2 million home in the affluent Cheongdam-dong district.
4. Lee Seung-Gi
Singer, actor, host, and performer Lee Seung-gi hails from South Korea. As a performer, he has achieved many successes with songs including "Because You're My Woman," "Will You Marry Me," "Return," and "The Ordinary Man." The home in Seoul owned by the actor, singer, and MC is valued about $3 million. It features all the opulent amenities, such as a golf practise area and fitness facility.
5. Jang Keun-Suk
Actor and singer Jang Keun-suk hails from South Korea. His most well-known roles include those in Beethoven Virus, You're Beautiful, Mary Stayed Out All Night, Love Rain, Pretty Man, The Royal Gambler, and Switch, all Korean television dramas. The idol resides in a lavish $3.5 million Seoul house. He also owns a $8.8 million structure that was formerly owned by Seo Sae-won.

South Korean singer, composer, dancer, actor, and record producer Jung Ji-hoon is better known by his stage name Rain. Seven albums, 28 singles, and countless international concert tours make up Rain's musical resume. In Seoul's most affluent neighbourhood, this Korean musician purchased two buildings. He reportedly spent more than $10 million on them all together.
7. Seo Tai-Ji
Seo Taiji or Seo Tae-ji, whose real name is Jeong Hyeon-cheol, is a South Korean singer, musician, songwriter, and record producer. The renowned musician is the owner of two structures in Seoul. They are each thought to be valued more than $7 million!
8. Lee Hyori
Singer, record producer, activist, actress, and television host Lee Hyo-ri hails from South Korea. She debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group Fin.K.L and was known as the "Nation's Fairy" during her Family Outing days, but she is now a solo artist. A $5 million building in Hannam-dong, Seoul, was just purchased by Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon. The structure, which goes by the name GRAMERCY, has four levels without the basement.
9. Big Bang’s G-Dragon
The "King of K-pop," Kwon Ji-yong, widely known by his stage name G-Dragon, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, businessman, and fashion designer. In 2020, G-Dragon reportedly spent $10.4 million on a brand-new luxurious apartment! The musician, who is well renowned for his unique sense of style, shared a few images of his brand-new crib on Instagram.
10. Son Ye-Jin
Actress Son Ye-jin is from South Korea. She first gained notoriety in 2003 for The Classic and Summer Scent, and then in 2004 for April Snow and the commercially hit A Moment to Remember. She was dubbed "Nation's First Love" in Korea for her early cinema roles. In a building with 14 apartments in Samsungdong, Gangnam, Son Ye Jin's apartment has the most space and is the only one with a garden. Son Ye Jin frequently congregates with friends in the garden, which he considers to be a favourite location.
