Her spouse is from a well-known family; his grandmother was a well-known hanbok designer, and his grandpa owned a steel company. He worked for Bank of America and later joined his family's firm, Alpha Assets, and in 2020 became its CEO and largest stakeholder. Sales revenues climbed by seven times to 10.9 billion South Korean won (US$9.1 million) a year after he took the position, according to Maeil Business Newspaper.
