I felt my heart hurt; I couldn’t cry because the story is not sad but it’s painful. No romance but it’s too romantic. the movie definitely isn't your typical cliché movie, and it has so many raw emotions that even makes its audience fall for it. The sweet feeling that engulfs you when you look back to those beautiful memories. Don't miss out on this one.

With Incredible build-up and an unforgettable climax, this movie will give you nothing but joyfulness! The animation is really beautiful and has the ability to create an enchanting atmosphere, although I have never been to Japan. This piece of art managed to depict a place full of life and the believable scenery are brought to life with a great amount of detail and love.
Seriously every scene is wonderful and can be stuck in our minds and makes us tend to watch it over and over again. It will make you laugh, cry and smile and the build of suspense is incredible. I would definitely, definitely recommend this film!!
4. Heavenly Forest, 2006
Heart touching movie with perfect script cinematography and plot are sincerely portrayed and convincingly shows perfect ending. It has a different and deep story. At last, I was in tears. The music will give you a serene feel and you won't regret watching it. It is a must-watch! I would recommend it to anyone to give it a try and watch how deep the story goes. It captures the emotions perfectly and what more to say please watch it!!
5. Wolf Children, 2012
This movie is a piece of art. It explores how much of a sacrifice, a mother has endured in upbringing her kids. Truly a masterpiece. This movie is so awesome. A perfect mix of reality and fantasy. It’s not too depressing but the most important thing it tells us is how to solve problems with a smile. No matter how hard it is! The ending was the best ending to this story. Just watch it. It's a beauty.
6. Children Who Chase Lost Voices, 2011
It is one of the best Anime movies I have ever seen. What a movie! A magical experience. It gives a happy and warm feeling. A perfect feel-good, heart-warming, heart-touching movie experience. A perfect masterpiece. The characters are meaningful and have an intense depth.
The storyline, plot, screenplay and Anime design is far more than great. The writing music and, Cinematography is awesome. You get a good lesson on how to stop crying from your losses and to move on with a blessing. It is a must-watch movie. You won’t regret watching this for sure.
7. My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday, 2016
How I would describe it: it's like having fun on a bungee jump but instead of moving back upwards, the rope snapped at its elastic limit and then you die because everything inside you breaks. In conclusion: this movie will teach/tell you to just enjoy the moment while it lasts, especially when you know/don't know what will happen in the future. Watch it, understand it, and then cry. Dang! This has got to be one of the best stories there is! Wonderful actors as well! It's really worth a watch!
8. Hachi: A Dog’s Tale, 2009
I think that this movie is overall well-balanced and is really worth watching. They have modified the story a little, and that hasn't ruined anything. It is still as good as it would have been if it were original. I was already crying at the end, but what made the ending best was that the boy, the grandson of Parker gets the same Akita dog and names it Hachi. It is the best movie ever and, I think it is exactly how it should have been. This movie is a wonderful gift to humankind for understanding and treasuring love towards dogs and learning some unconditional love and loyalty from them. Just can't stop my tears rolling out, loved it!!!
9. Her Love Boils Bathwater, 2016
An awesome movie that is well cooked with love and flavours of emotions. Feel the sweetness and a lump in your throat at the same time. Great movie with great theme and narration. Very rich cinematic experience. One of the best Japanese movies out there to make you cry like a baby. It is one of those genres of cinema which can’t be described in words! Very heavy but absolutely unforgettable!
10. Grave Of The Fireflies, 1988
An amazing film that teaches us to value life more than anything, It shows us the devastating aftermath of wars. And a really brave teen brother who is determined to get through it all and protect his little sister. If you think you have a strong heart and you never cry then watch this you sure will. In order to understand what heartbreak feels like this one movie is more than enough. According to me, this is the most emotional movie I have ever seen and probably the greatest anime as well as an animation film.
