Japanese rock music has been a significant influence since the 1960s. Modern rock is inspired by its original old rock and roll music. This band also won 'The Best Japanese Act Award' in 2016. 3. Uverworld
Uverworld has cast of 6 members Nobuto, Akira, Katsuya, Takuya, Shintaro, Seika. The Band is famous for its fantastic opening theme of the anime, 3-D music. Timeless, Bugright, Life 6 Sense, and The One, 30 are some awesome albums produced by the band and sold over three million records worldwide.
4. Laruku
The Laruku was formed in 1991 and was the first Japanese band to headline at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Former members Ken, Tetsuya, Hyde, Yukihiro, Hiro, Pero and Sakura. They hold #58 rank on Japanese Pop Musicians by HMVJapan. 5. Dir En Grey
Dir En Grey was formed in February 1997 in Japan. The band is the most versatile band from Japan, known for their unique 'instrumental play. They are Famous for their dramatic image in their performances. Their Famous albums are Vulgar (2003), Withering to Death (2005), Uroboros (2008), Dum Spiro Spero (2011), Macabre (2000), Kisou (2002), Gauze (1999), The Marrow of a Bone (2007).
6. B’z
The famous duo Koshi Inaba and Tak Matsumoto formed the band B'z. They were the best-selling music artists in Japan, selling 100 million records. The Band also got the Guinness World Record for Best-Selling Album Act in Japan in 2003. 7. Deviloof
The Deviloof Daiki has Ryuya, Seiya, Hiroto, Keisuke, and Ray as former members of the band. They are well known for their work in Deathcore, Metalcore, and Rock Music. 8. Dadaroma
In 2014 DADAROMA emerged as a visual kei rock band from Tokyo. A New drummer, after their break in mid-2018 due to Yusuke's health issues, was introduced. The Band produced five mini-albums from 2015 to 2018. famous albums are Stanczyk (2016), Dadaism1 (2015), and Dadaism2 (2016).
9. X-Japan
The X-japan was first formed by Yoshiki and Toshi in Chiba, and other members joined in the later years. This band is known for their groundbreaking work in Genres like Rock, Heavy Metal, Speed Metal, Power Metal, Glam Metal, Progressive Metal, and Symphonic Metal. The Band is known for albums like Vanishing Vision (1988), Blue Blood (1989), Jealousy (1991), Art of Life (1993), and Dahlia (1996).
10. Dimlim
Dimlim is a visual kei band that was formed in 2017, and its current members are Sho, Retsu, and Hiroshi. The band is under the label DUM Label. In 2019, Taishi left due to illness, and Ryuya left due to artistic differences. The Misc (2020), Chedoara (2017), and Various (2017) are some famous albums produced by Dimlim.
