Growing up in front of the camera has given them charm, screen presence, and a wealth of acting experience. Here is a list of ten Chinese entertainment stars that are now building a name for themselves.

1. Leo Wu Lei

Leo Wu Lei's portrayal as Xiao Fei Liu in Nirvana in Fire garnered him many fans. He had been in several dramas before that, including a role as Nezha in The Legend and the Hero when he was just seven years old.

 

2. Yang Zi 

Yang Zi made her formal debut in Ru Ci Chu Shan when she was 7 years old, and she shone again later in The Era of Emperor Kangxi, making audiences sit up and take notice of her performance. Home With Kids, a youth-centred comedy in which she played an active, lively figure who earned the recognition of many viewers.

 

3. Yang Mi

Yang Mi, despite being a kid actor, stood out from the throng with her wide, passionate eyes. Yang Mi, when four years old, was discovered by a filmmaker and cast as the Xianyi princess, the daughter of Emperor Tang Xuanzong, in her debut period drama Tang Ming Huang in 1990. Yang Mi, at five years old, played So Chan's daughter in the Hong Kong action-comedy King of Beggars in 1992. Growing up in the spotlight, several images of the actress from her early infancy through her college years can be seen online, including one in which she has yet to remove her braces but appears virtually identical.

 

4. Chen Xingxu

Oliver Chen Xingxu was a young actor before Goodbye My Princess propelled him to popularity. Chen Xingxu was discovered by a talent scout while visiting a zoo, and he went on to appear in his debut drama, The Years of Passion Burning. His previous works include Jiangmen Fengyu, Golden Marriage, and Qiu Haitang. The 25-year-old displays maturity for an actor his age and can presently be seen in the military drama The Glory of Youth.

 

5. Guan Xiatong

Guan Xiaotong's father is actor Guan Shaozeng, Family's powerful connections allowed her to begin participating in plays alongside her father at the age of four, earning her the moniker "Daughter of the People." Electric Shadows (2004), Nuan (2003), and Profoundly Affecting (2004) are among the films in which she has appeared. When she decided to focus on dramas, she had to re-imagine herself owing to her child actor character, which resulted in a lacklustre reaction to the period dramas she played in, such as Novoland The Castle in the Sky.

 

6. Song Zuer

The Sea and Sky Boundless, are well recognized for their part as Ne Zha in the epic fantasy Prelude of Lotus Lanterns. She had a long-acting vacation before reappearing in 2017's school drama Boy Hood and historical costume drama The Dark Lord, where she received critical acclaim. 7. Zhang Xueying

Sophie Zhang Xueying, one of the "Four Actresses of the Post-95 Generation," began her career as a child actor around the same time as Song Zuer and Guan Xiaotong. She had previously participated in Hero During the Yongle Period and Beauty's Rival in Palace in 2010 as the child version of Liu Piao princess and had previously appeared in 10 dramas. Zhang Xueying made the leap from child actor to thespian in The Romance of the Condor Heroes, Love Yunge from the Desert, and Ban Shu Legend, but it wasn't until Princess Silver that she discovered her representative work.

 

8. Jiang Yiyi

Angelina Jiang Yiyi, born in 2001, is one of a new generation of child actors building a name for themselves. She debuted in her first ad at the age of one year and over 100 commercials before ten. She had acted as Nie Shen' er in Beauty's Rival in Palace, Yang Xue Wu in Prince of Lan Ling, Guo Fu in The Legend of Condor Heroes, and Xia Yun Ge in Love Yunge from the Desert, and was frequently cast as the kid version of numerous actresses. Despite being known by fans and garnering recognition in 2017's Princess Agents, Jiang Yiyi still lacks a representative work in her oeuvre and has only appeared as a guest in the current Love of Thousand Years.

 

9. Hu Xianxu

When he was nine years old, he appeared in the motivational film Xiao Jian De He Chang Tuan. Hu Xianxu, born in 2000, is presently a student at the Central Academy of Drama and has yet to act in any recent performances.

 

10. Niu Junfeng

Niu Junfeng made a mark in Love O2O as Yu Banshan and again in Princess Agents as Yuan Song. Niu Junfeng in the 2002 urban comedy Jia You Jiao Che, won accolades from renowned directors Chen Kaige and Vicky Zhao. He also appeared as an endearing supporting male lead in 2019's adolescent romance The Brightest Star In The Sky, most recently enchanted fans as Zhao Youxiu in Twenty Your Life On. Despite being renowned for his acting abilities, his popularity has not grown as rapidly.
