1. Chenle

Zhong Chenle is a Chinese idol under SM Entertainment. He is part of the group NCT and its sub-unit NCT DREAM, signed under SM Entertainment. Even before his debut with NCT in 2016, Chenle had already released three solo albums in China and one solo concert. Chenle was invited to sing at the Golden Hall of Vienna at the age of 9. He was the youngest to have been invited ever. As a child, Chenle was invited to various countries to perform in front of an audience and, his family’s wealth made all that traveling easier.

 

2. Deserts Chang

Deserts Chang born Chiao An-p’u, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter. Chang had started to compose music when she was 13 years old, and by the time the singer was 19, she had over 100 songs under her name. She released her first album in 2006, but before that, the singer had already become a popular household name due to performing on stage since the age of 16.

She was born into a high socioeconomic status family. Chang’s father, Chiao Jen Ho, was a Straits Exchange Foundation secretary-general and vice-chairman.

 

3. Jeannie Hsieh

Jeannie Hsieh is a singer-songwriter. She is also an actress, model, and dancer. She is recognized for her unique combination of techno and hip-hop music often written in Taiwanese Hokkien. Sometimes Jeannie surprises her fans even more by blending in Cantonese, Mandarin, and sometimes even English lyrics into her songs.

She is the daughter of the Taiwanese comedian, television host, singer, and actor, Chu Le-Liang. The actor had died in 2017 due to colon cancer.

 

4. Huang Zitao

Huang Zitao is a popular Chinese singer having sold thousands of albums. He originally debuted as a member of EXO in 2012 but terminated his contract in 2015.

The singer is a rich second-generation born to a very well-known family in Qingdao. His parents run a real estate company. After his debut, Zitao’s father had set up a brokerage company under his name.

 

5. Joanna Wang

Joanna is a singer-songwriter born in Taipei. She was raised in Los Angeles. Joanna released her first album “Start from Here” in January 2008. The album was released as a double-disc set, one disc was recorded in English, and the other in Chinese. The album reached the top of the charts in Taiwan and was extremely popular in Southeast Asia as well.

Her father is the renowned music producer, Wang Zhi Ping. Wang Zhi Ping is known for his work with Mandarin pop bands like S.H.E, LA Boyz, and ASOS.

 

6. Tzuyu

Tzuyu is a K-pop idol signed under JYP Entertainment. She is the lead dancer, sub-vocalist and visual of the TWICE. Tzuyu is the youngest in the group. Tzuyu graduated from the Hanlim Multi-Art School in Seoul with her bandmate, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun.

She hails from a rich family that is very successful in the night market business. Her parents had allegedly invested approximately $1.77 in 3 different hospitals in Taiwan. Tzuyu’s mother additionally owns a chain of cafes. To top it off, Tzuyu’s parents are also in the plastic surgery business.

 

7. Edison Chen

Edison Chen is a musician, singer, producer, actor, entrepreneur, and fashion designer. He debuted with the Emperor Entertainment Group, subsequently releasing a few small albums. In 2004, he released his first hip-hop album. Edison’s father, Edward Chen, is a high-profile businessman in the Hong Kong entertainment industry.

Hua Chenyu, more commonly known as HuaHua, is a C-pop icon. He debuted in the year 2013 after he won the survival show “Superboy”. Since then, the idol has seen great fame and has sold many albums under his name. In 2020, he won another variety show, “Singer (Season 8)” and was crowned the “King” of all singers.
