Watch the anime and find out.

The Feel-Good Part

While the show presents a very childlike and storybook animation style, the themes, storylines, and motivations are dark. However, this darkness gives us highly complex characters and an exciting storyline. The characters in the show are tough and give us an exciting and intriguing watch all around. With the lessons of hard work, determination, and friendship, this show is a perfect watch.

The Disappointing Factor

The show ends in a confusing and puzzling way. Its storybook style is partially the reason for this because it tries to tie into its fairytale storybook roots. However, the ending doesn’t feel justified and feels a bit odd. But even a lousy end does not necessarily bring down the overall quality and enjoyment of the anime.

In-Depth Analysis

The show employs a very underdog protagonist approach to storytelling. It makes us look at the character’s growth throughout the show and how he navigates all the views in his life and the people around him. The show feels real because everyone has their motivation and shifting priorities. So to navigate within this climate is going to be difficult for the young prince. But somehow, with an unconventional friendship and determination, he can.

Star Power

Our main character in the show is Bojji, played by Minami Hinata. Not only is Bojji the best character in the show, but even with little to no dialogue, Minami Hinata delivers a stunning performance. Bojji’s mouthpiece in the series is Kage, played by Ayumu Murase. Ayumu Murase balances out the energy with Bojji and gives a fantastic performance. Ayumu Murase is best known for his role in anime such as Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, Bananya: Fushigi na Nakama-Tachi, Banana Fish, Black Clover, and so much more.

Overall Opinion

With dark, gripping, and intense storylines along with a childlike fairytale animation style, this is a unique and exciting watch all around.
