This anime is a great blend of romance, comedy, magic, and rebirth. The animation is exceptional as everything is minutely detailed.
The disappointing factor:
Even though it starts strong, the series struggles to keep up with its quality towards the end. The series introduces magic, but they hardly ever explain its how and when. There is a silly point in the series where Catarina has to choose among four male characters to be her partner and the ones she doesn’t choose will stop helping her. This aspect makes the characters seem selfish.

The series includes characters having English names rather than Japanese. The protagonist of the series, a female, Catarina Claes, is the daughter of a Duke. Hence, she is a princess. One fine day, she bumps her head into a stone which results in her gaining all her past-life memories. Since the rock was thrown by a boy named Geordo Stuart, they were announced as ‘engaged.’ The injury resulted in Catarina waking up in an Otome game, she had always loved playing. The name of the game was ‘fortune lover.’ She had always imagined being a princess in this game world. But all her happiness was crushed when she realized, she has entered the game as the main villainess. Another problem of the game is that no matter what Catarina does, she always ends up exiled or killed. But as she is quite familiar with every nuance of the game, she has to try her best to survive. Due to all these countermeasures she takes, the direct effect is on her relations with the other characters. This series is Catarina’s quest to survive the game world.
