Drama digest:

The protagonist of the series is a regular-wage earner in the corporate sector and has finally achieved his dream. As his city faces a typhoon, he looks down on all the people suffering because of it. It’s a teleportation story showing him the meaning of life.

The feel-good factor:

Unlike most of the series’, this series started slow but became interesting in the latter half. Humour is good throughout the series. According to some viewers, the story is pretty unique and goes against the Isekai stereotypes.

The disappointing factor:

The main issue of the series is the protagonist Kinji’s personality. He’s selfish, dumb, and rude, which is disappointing to watch. As the protagonist’s personality is something the show is heavily dependent upon, it was important to write the protagonist a little better. The art and music of the series are only mediocre. The production looked really cheap and maybe this was because of budget problems.

In-depth analysis:

Kinji, the lead of the series has already reached the peak of his career. He has succeeded in all the endeavours he had planned for himself. He has finally achieved everything he wanted. He has enough cash, a penthouse on the top floor of a skyscraper, and a luxurious life to live without having to work anymore. One day, his city is hit by a typhoon. The condition of the city goes from bad to worse. A lot of people struggle due to the typhoon but it doesn’t seem to concern Kinji even a bit. He just watches other people struggling for their lives from the balcony of his luxurious apartment. All this goes on for a while. After a few days, Kinji gets mysteriously transported to a different world. This world does not contain anything Kinji had achieved. It is a world where he has to start everything from scratch. It’s a different world with Kinji’s life being different here. In this world, Kinji gets the job of working as a laborer in a mining company called the ‘Black Company.’ He refuses to accept it, but it is the ultimate reality of his life now. All that is happening is going to teach Kinji the meaning of hard work. Even though the new world is a fantasy land with dragons, goblins, kings, and queens residing in it, everybody has to make their fortune through hard work.

Star power:

There was hardly enough time for any other character except Kinji and his dragon girl partner to come to the limelight.

Overall opinion:

In all, it’s a good show with a unique concept and decent premise.
